Random Tuesday Thoughs Things and Stuff, and this and That

So this morning I posted this pic over at FB.


I call it Conversations in the snow which went something like this.
 "So I hear from the woman on the deck with the Camera, that we're going reach 5c Today. She does know it's still February right?" said the doubtful chair.
"Well you saw how far she came out that door? Can you really believe someone that doesn't even step outside the door?" said the Table
"You two are ones to talk, you know I wont even see the warmth of the sun until it's too far away to do anything" Said the Jealous Snow covered Deck.
"Don't mind me I'm just hanging around" Said the Swing. Which resulted in a glare from the canoe swing who is still very much stuck at a standstill.

What? your furniture doesn't talk? Ok what if it looked like this? 

No? it's apparently a clock but no it's not it's a swiped photo from else where posted as a free item. I almost fell for it too if it wasn't for those oh wait. Sorry tangent.

The cake is still but the cupcakes of yesterday are down to 2. The boys LOVED the oreo inspired cake.

I will definitely make that again, but maybe less baking soda?

Tonight is pizza night. The breadmaker will be a spinning. So will the treadmill once I get down there.

The snow is melting, the chair is in the sun today so I'm sure tomorrow levels will b be lower. The high for today is to be 5C. (as per conversation I had with the chair, you know you talk to your furniture too)

Thursday we'll get 5-10cm (you know 3-4inches)

I'd love to escape thsi snow, you know go for a week and come home nd have it all melted. I like snow don't get me wrong, I have many a convo with Keetha about the state of the snow and the love of snow but you know? there gets to a point where you're ready for the change over.

Basketball Season is over here. I should be home more this week which means more posts and more conversations with the furniture. I wonder if I should see someone about that? /

OR I could just be Looney! ah Full Moon lastnight as I got home from my Parents Meeting.
 

8 is Great!

My Youngest turns 8 today and I actually got myself together and the kitchen in some assemblance of clean enough and baked him his requested Oreo Inspired Birthday Cake.

If you saw the sides of the actual cake? you'd probably run and hide. I had to use a cupcake and a real oreo cookie to line the layers up. LOL!!!

There Once Was a Chair In My Back Yard

So it started with this :

"We're going to need to keep those shovels handy. Again" said the chair to the table

And then we went to bed. We woke up to this...

"Marshmallows for Breakfast again, Table?"

Then after not getting out of the house for the day and going back to bed I woke up to this...

"I'm Catching Snowflakes on my Chair"

And as the day snowed on..

"Mmmmumble uh yeah it's still snowing"

And then the Sun went down and soooooo :

"Who turned out the lights?"

 I really don't know what I'll wake up to tomorrow? but yeah it's still snowing. I suspect that there will be no school.

Random Tuesday Thoughts (Catchup)

So I was on my way out tonight to a meeting and on the way out spotted this guy. Definitely random!!! I was sure that Stacy's PN would love this...

So I had to post it as part of my Random Tuesday Thoughts



Not much other Random is going on here, snow, of course, and the chair is a tad covered again. I was asked at the meeting if I had brought my chair? haha

I have some new Anew cream to use, it's for evening out your face colour and pigments. Less blotchy? I'll have to give it a whirl for 2wks and see how it goes.

Does anyone else ever say "Happy Monday" to people? I did that yesterday, it gets some smiles but not as many as Happy Friday! :)

The boys are in more sports than I can keep track of lately. I was told that if I thought I was tired when they were little I'd second guess that once they were teens, yep! it's starting. I'm almost looking forward to my kids getting their licenses.  I said "almost".

I had a free subscription to satelite Stereo in my car, it's going to be up in about a week. They've been calling daily since Christmas. (eye roll). The only station I think I used was the Disney one.  Not going to pay.

Oh Cute! I just saw the add fofr that Furry Vengeance Movie coming on this weekend. YES! that movie is too funny. Lot of giggles.

Not much else here in the Random folder today.  I'll squirrel some up for you next week. SQUIRREL!!!

Update Chair Hog's Day

As the day continued we heard that Ontario's Ground Hog had not seen his shadow. So Chair of course got itself all ready  for the occasion. We will not tell Chair that the Calendar says atleast 6 more weeks officially no matter what the Ground Hog See... 

Happy Chairhog's Day

So there we have it the chair saw the Table's shadow but not it's own. Do you think if the chair could turn itself around, it would be scared? Or maybe just maybe its scared frozen by the Table's shadow. I haven't heard from the Mactaquac ground hog yet.Feb 2nd 2013, Chair Day
