Last Day Winter 2013

Well today I'm calling my post Friday Fun. Some of it happened Today but most is just a weekend Wrap up. I missed out on RTT on Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday was too wordy and ended up on FB, so you all will get some of that here too. I know some of you know me there and most of you that know me there, don't know me here. Sadly my confidence in my ability to entertain and keep you reading? is low enough we don't need to share here over there.
Okay, we'll start with Monday, the last bits of Winter.

First Day Spring 2013

yes you read that right Spring

and then this is how I spent my First Day of Spring. Standing in my slippers watching the snow fall, and sharing it with my friends nad family. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on my snow flakes.

Boys! or Maybe it's My Fault?

So it's Saturday morning and I walk into Mr 8's room and it's neat it's tidy, there is nothing to wait through while in there to get to the bed. And that's when I see it. He's learned to Clean his room from me! I suspect it's Genetic, I vaguely remember some of my live Ancestors doing this when I was a child. Mostly the male relatives.

I have some laundry to put away it seems and some to wash? Darn! I'll just hide it all in the washer and dryer that will work right?

Earth Quake?

So this morning I woke up at 630am with a headache, Hubbie took over kid patrol for the morning and got the boys out and I went back to bed. I thought I was losing it and dreaming that we were having an earth quake? (figured the headache was fogging my brain), when i got up at 1030 had some breakfast and back to bed.  The toast helped a bit but I crawled back in bed. I asked Hubbie to call me at 215 so I'd be up for the bus to drop off mr babe. I'm sure he hates being called that now that he's 8
I just talked to hubbie tonight after I had been talking to my MIL and mentioned the headache to her (she's a migraine sufferer so understood) when I got off the phone hubbie says  yep he felt it too. He said he was in the Server Rooms at work when it happened. I thought for sure I was dreaming and the headache was making me hear/feel things that weren't really happening. Thinknig back I had asked one of the boys to get me a 2litre ice cream bucket (empty and no longer really 2liters anymore) to put by the bed. Migraines! So when I got up the bucket was actually tilted to the bed? I wonder if it bounced across the bedside table?
 Now to go find that website that measures earth Quakes. I can't be the only crazy (well other than hubbie)
So far I'm not seeing any reports. I'll keep looking though.

Awards, Me, and Randomness

So I was bloghopping along today, and found this over at Julie's Blog. Momspective! The woman surely does know how to spread the bloggy love. And Wow did you read her 15 things? 15. I have to list 15things about me. Well maybe some of you will actually read this and learn a bit about me
1. I talk to Furniture. Well specifically I think about what my outdoor furniture is saying about the state of my yard and the weather. I mean really doesn't everyone think about what their furniture or yard would say about all it sees in the run of a day/season?
2. I'm mad about the current change in Radio on my local station. They went from Classic Rock to top 40 just like all the other stations in this province. I'm currently listening to the CBC talk radio. When you sit in a house or work from home while your kids and spouse are out and about, you really want brain stimulation vs auto tune.
3. I took piano lessons, 8yrs can't really play more than a few tunes. There are though a few things that have finally come to light bulb moments after my boys have started doing music lessons and Band in school.
4. It's March Break here, why do schools have March Break? It's been 2 official days home, I miss school.
5. I'm the Avon lady. Yep! I'm a Canadian Avon lady, I sell Avon in Canada. (I so wish I could sell it to my American Friends) I make very very little money. So really I sell myself Avon.
6. I have 3 sons, and yes there are days I do wonder what it would be like to have a girl here but then there are days I see other people's girls and think, 'yeah I'm good'.
7. My favorite colour is Blue.
8. Yes I spell colour, flavour, neighbour with all those u's in there.
9. Spell check is my friend. It tells me that I've made up new words like bloghopping, Momspective (ok she made that one up) and Bloggy.
10. I like snow, yep I do. I think though it's my father's fault. He used to tell me this story about when I came home from the hospital a snowflake fell on my nose. And being first time parents they ohhhhhhhhed and ahhhhhhhed over it for years! like at every opportunity to tell me until I put a stop to the story, ACK! here I am telling the story.
11. I am forever working on my weight. I'd love to be extremely not have to think about it healthy weight but yeah no, I've got a height problem. I'm too short for my love of food.
12. I love to bake but try not to as I'll just bake and no one will know I baked unless they look at my Assets.
13. I rarely swear, but I can get a good stream of them going if I'm having a moment or hanging around my husband longer.
14. I've known my husband for 20+yrs.
15. And it's Random Tuesday, and I like to participate in Random Tuesday and Randomly spell Random with an e on the end so have to backspace a lot but if you want to get some Random on link up over at Stacy's.
