OK blogger bring me back my plug and play toolbar!!! Why must you continue to "fix" stuff? I'm a very routine person. I like things to stay exactly as they were, leave my stuff I know how to do alone. If someone wants to change things later? Go let them!! I don't care, I'll still read their stuffs. Too many steps make people want to leave!!

I know I'm whining and there are plenty of other things out there in the real world to whine about. Life could be worse, I know it. I've read the blogs and posts from friends, but today? I'm whining abut the little things.


Speaking of little things, remember that post about Summer? and being excited about the kids being home? yeah I'm done. Bring back school!! Two mornings in a row I woke up to "I'm hungry" well Darn it! make toast? pour cereal, raid the fridge, MOM likes sleep! Well yes mom could have gone to bed earlier knowing you were going to be up early, but MOM likes sleep! As long as you all don't burn the house down, and leave us out to the bears? make breakfast.

I think I may have to bake muffins at night, leave them out on the counter and wait for them to "miraculously" find them all by themselves?


The Bear has not been back, no new footage of his meandering through my yard, so I'm going to assume we don't have the right goodies for him to eat out there? please! I'm still walking around the hood. It's relaxing almost to walk with a friend. I will not be going alone though. Maybe if I bring the loud children, I can solve that breakfast problem? hmmmm nah I should keep them forever right? I'd miss them and have nothing to do here and nothing to write about, and have to find a REAL $$ kind of job? (eyes resume still tucked under computer parts)

BTW it was Prom Week in town here last week, check out this ride my friend's Daughter had!!! I smudged due to her not knowing I'm a blogger. shhhhh. :p

why is summer so less go go go for them? not a lot of neighbours home during the week I think. All the other Moms in the neighbour hood are working and taking their kids to daycamps, and day care. Darn!! So no one is home. No one, it's so quiet outside you'd forget it's summer.

Oh the boys did manage to make themselves a lunch on Sunday. I've got a picture, it was almost genius!

I had another "idea" I think I'll try to get TJ to write a post sometime over the summer. He's not enthusiastic as a writer, but you know?Maybe because it's a computer and the evil internet? (shhhhh!) he might go for it. maybe?

He's connecting my photo card now, hey maybe I'll hire him as an assistant?

Have you ever picked up your camera, and uploaded pics only to forget that you took picture of different things? oh the surprises I just found, or maybe the kids took some of these? (car picture found and randomily inserted up there)I'll have a few posts for this week looking at this. oh look the insert photo option is MIA. (bangs head on desk)
YAY! Found it!!

Meals by Kyootycenter! those are mini pita breads, bottled sauce with beef, turkey pepperoni slices, and mozzerella. They toasted them in the toaster oven!

Sunday they baked Peanut Butter cookies, but uh when I got home? the house smelled great, and there were only 6 left. I left them for breakfast naggings on Monday. Sureeeeeeee you can all eat cookies for Breakfast, eat up, zZZZZZZZZZZZ Momma's Zeeing!

So 11wks left now. Whatever will we do?

Summer!! YAY!!

Today was the last day of school for my boys. This was the end of Elementary School for my oldest son. I think I'm more nervous of middle School and what's to come next then he is, but for now? It's Summer.

I just received an email from a friend today. There were more sightings of a Bear or bears? This is about 3miles "through the woods" from my place. Fun times. Who invited the Bears to my summer picnics? I ask you? Why is it that my neighbour hood needs bears? My neighbourhood is a good 20-25yrs old? It's not like these are unused lands.

I'm going to have to be on my toes and outside all summer. This may call for a much longer extension for my Laptop, so I can keep my eyes on the boys. I think the bears should now go off and live in a cave/or zoo. Leave the houses and yards for the people?


I hope I'm not being a downer to everyone's VGNO! I think this may mean it's time for a drink! yes a Drink to the Bear leaving town?

Friday Fill-ins! Summer Vacation, Here we ARE!

And...here we go!



1. On vacation, I like __to take off to the island. It calls me? I go__________.
2. ___Nothing measures when it comes to cooling off like being______ in the ocean.
3. One of my favorite vacation spots __the Island. You just can't find that kind of beauty and hominess anywhere else, but maybe that's because I grew up there. You might not crave it the same________.
4. ___I have no idea when there will be the next__________ full moon.
5. Up, up and away ____off we are soaring into the life of a a Mom to a middle school kid. The boys got their reportcards yesterday, and today they are partying with their classmates and teachers. It totally flew by, I wonder if summer will fly by so quickly? Part of me hope so__________.
6. Bananas ___are the perfect food, but sometimes I grave candy bananas_____.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to _My kids FIRST Friday of summer____, tomorrow my plans include __My kids First Saturday of  summer, we may get to the beach___ and Sunday, I want to _Relax on my kids first Sunday of Summer____! (I may be over this by Monday or Tuesday?)

I Did it! I WANT to do it Again!!

Tonight I was the 5K for my Weight Watchers. I HAD a blast. I'm still kind of energized. It went fabulously. I went with a friend. We walked a week ago, after our Meeting just to see how we were doing. We did 5K last Wednesday night in about 59.minutes. Tonight? We did our 5K in 49m13seconds!!! and we did it for us? And WOW does it ever feel accomplished to sign up for something and say you did it! i'm so awesomely Proud of me and my walking friends.

I only wish I had thought to take my camera and actually take a picture of me and my friend crossing that line! It wasn't a ribbon or anything cool you see other people walking through but it was still our finish line. We hung around the finish for a bit too and cheered on some more of the walkers there tonight with us for the walk. I tried to look like a mii (wii character) Jumping up and down at the end of the "run" when you do the wiifit run! haha!

I couldn't stop talking when I got home. I'm pretty sure my Hubbie is still rolling his eyes at me. I didn't want to sit down either. Energized! I'm energized. I did a load of laundry, I stood at the sink and did a load of dishes, and now I'm looking for something to do. You should see my fingers flying across the keyboard? Is this what "High?" feels like? wow!!!

mood of the day? Accomplished, Happy and Energized!! :) GO ME!

Father's Day Meme! TAG!

Thursday Evening, I was sitting here all reading along and went over to visit Karen over at If I could Escape. (I know she understands me, she's got boys too!) She has started a Father's Day Meme and asked me to join along. I'm starting this typed up tonight but I'll get MJ's answer in the morning and update.

Hubbie works in IT, I call him my "personal IT guy" but really? he does a lot of everything for a lot of people with a Company here in town. I'm not sure just how much "info" I'm allowed to reveal. (snicker) He's that guy that everyone goes to when everything goes "crazy" and they say "Fix it" but he doesn't seem to get the gifts that I remember he used to get? Some of these guys did help put up our roof last Spring, so maybe that's the Thank You?

Walking really? No! I need a Treadmill!!

YEP! now it's confirmed! This is walking through my back yard, at 2300hr this evening.  Now it's WAY too REAL!!

The Altar of Truth, likes me!

So again I went off to my meeting lastnight and to continue on here with accountablity. (you don't have to read this post if you don't want to)
I'm down .8lbs this week! YAY! i'm working on the wiifit 30-35minutes a day, and walking at night. The rain has stayed away, my walking partner is ready to go tonight and tomorrow, so far. YAY! and off we go. I also went off walking in town lastnight so that I'm ready for my 5K next Wednesday. I may take MJ into town too, Monday and Tuesday to keep walking.

Random Tuesday Critter, 5K walking, wiifitplus, strawberries

you know how this random works, I've been doing it for more then a year now. I think? 

Critter count! so I'm out walking Saturday night, it had rained, and so when it stopped and the clouds started to break I took off! yep, got me out of the house and get to the 45minute point of my60minute walk and I see the mail box has a notice. Now people put up notices for all kinds of things, babysitters, lawnmowers, and missing pets. Well this notice? ?

WARNING! There has been a bear sited on (location). Last seen 8pm (it was 745pm) on June 3rd!
ok so let's do the math here. Saturday night was June 12th and yes there was possibility that MR poop in the woods had been in and got nothing to eat and gone ack to his usual areas? but you know? The thoughts of being Bear food? don't appeal to me! People/Teachers wonder why my kids have a lot of screen time? (computers?/DVDS) yeah its' because well it's not very Mama Bear of me to let them outside with the Bears? right?


So this of course brings me to the Prayer in my heart. THANK YOU GOD for bringing to this world the inventors of the Wiifitplus! A Bear will not get on your wiiboard and chase you across Wuhu Island? no you get your imaginary bike and off you go! off go the Cals. and not my losing my butt to a bear bite.

Today Mr11(from now on he's that no matter if it's not official) is off at a water slide park. He's celebrating with his classmates! and I hope having a great time.  I didn't volunteer to go help out because well, when it comes down to it? my son does better when Mom isn't there to discuss or see what he's up to.

Strawberries, oh I'm still craving those berries. I think I'm going to be costing us a fortune in Berries. I so should find me a U-pick locally and pick my own but uh Bears? ... They like strawberries too!

So I signed my butt up for a 5k Walk, it's hard to train wiht visions of Bears in your head. BEARS! ok so maybe this isn't so very random? this week? but will the Random ? here and there do? cause my mind is raising?



Oh the 'potatoes' are making progress in the back yard. I'll get me some pictures for you for next week! And we bought a mini (candy it said) tomatoe plant for Mr5, and he's watering it, and now we have 1 smallish green tomato! we just moved it over to the "bigger" planter on the step, I need to get me some Tomato cages to keep it straight I guess? There are 9 blossoms too.

Do you think Bears like ripe on the vine tomatos? I know that raccoons do. I think they have been checking on this plant nightly because i hear a lot of scratch scratch out back but never dare to turn on the light to look. Do Bears eat Racoons? This is why I'll never compost! I wonder how the turkey carcus I have out in my garbage bin is doing? It's garbage day today, all you can eat Buffet for bears.

First time linker upper here I found this BigMamaCass, who sent me over to Mannland5, and so here are my answers. It might also help some of the newer readers learn more about me.  Welcome to Kyootycenter! it's all Kyoot (cute) here.
 



1. If you could have one of Superman's, powers which one would you want? Superhuman strength..Flight..Superhuman speed..X-Ray vision..etc
Flying, it's got to be better execise the walking right? keeping that tummy in cause you know it would hang down. then again maybe if I was flying on my back? yeah then the belly would just lay there right, and look flat? But then my butt? oh my! my butt would be all hanging down for ALL the world to see. Maybe I should go with Freezing vision, yeah that's a good one. I could freeze all the groceries into the van so they wouldn't melt before we got them home and I could do a few more "trips" to other stores before getting home. OK I'll take Freezing vision.


2. The best thing I ever won is....?
Oh I know an even split ticket at work! I won 109.00! ( I now though wonder if the person that gave me the $$? didn't take a bit off the top? cause well uh hmmmm there was that "incident" later at that store that cause her not to work there anymore.) hmm things that make you go hmmm?



3. Have you ever skyped with a bloggy friend?

No never used Skype, but have used webcam a lot when talking to my yahoogroup friends and family. AWESOME!


4. What is your favorite Summer month?
June, as it's JUST getting hot and you aren't too into Summer to complain about being too hot yet, because before you know it? ABANDON chair days are in full force.


5. Pool, Lake, or Ocean?
OCEAN!!! There is nothing like being to the ocean, hearing the waves crash, against the door, or just slowly wave in. There is nothing as calming as sitting at the edge and feeling the salt water lap at your toes. Nothing is as much fun as running through the waves. I will for now though put up with the lakes of NB until I get get myself to the Shores of CB Island.


6. One of my favorite Summer memories is.....?
Going to the Beach with my family. Mom would get off work at 330, come home, everyone would get their towels, and swimsuits on and off we'd go, everyone cooled off and refreshed.  Sometimes we'd stop at the pizza shop on the way home and have pizza for supper afer we were all good and tired!!! Of course i'm positive this was a experienced Mom move on my parents behave because no one was fighting when she got home. The laundry? done cause we wanted to get to the beach. The House? clean because we wanted to get to the beach. Some days we even had a lunch packed. Summer on the Island ROCKED, and it was even more fun once we got to the beach.

7. What's your favorite secret bargain?
nothing. I've got nothing. I'm cheap yes but I have no secrets, everyone know's I'm cheap. :P


8. Do you plan on or have you been watching the World Cup?

 The what? If there is no Stanley, or Hockey sticks involved? I hve no idea what this is? 

 
 

VGNO-A Boat load of Crazy people

Welcome to my Friday. Today was just one of those days you know? MJ was "busy" and wanted to go outside but he didn't want to get out of his PJS? AJ and TJ all went off to school, but then they came home, and until they came home? all I heard at my house was "MOM! is that the bus?" (run to the window)
"looks at the clock, are the boys coming home sOOOOOOOONNNNNNN?"
"not yet dear..."

"MOM! bus went by..." run to window, that's the little kid bus, the bus he'll get next year. And all afternoon?these sightings? Truck sightings, new House builds and landscaping must be up this year, we saw 20 or he saw and reported 20 trucks going by all through the day. I grabbed my water glass and pretended it was something stronger.  At 3pm? (when the little kid bus went by) I heard this on the radio...


And that's when I knew? I needed a VGNO! so off I went to Ann's site
and read her post. Then I thought about mine? I could only come up with? CRAZY! So on with the crazy...

The Altar of Truth has Spoken and I'm listening

So for those that might be wondering, or just for my own "gloficiation" and because it's about ME. I'm down 2lbs since last week, when the Altar misbehaved and told me I agained. I did exactly what I planned, I plugged away and just kept going. So Take that HORMONES!

And I then had these to celebrate, lots and lots of these.

Let's see random??

went to a yard sale/garage sale on Saturday, you now they are out for the $$ when they are selling used backpacks? those things only usually wear out in 8months! and school is almost 10months.

Wait a second, school is as long as pregnancy? I wonder who planned that? and why can't we plan pregnancies in the same time frame so no one is sweating off their bellies in the heat of summer. Yep I think mother nature needs work on this plan

Strawberries! as big as your head? no but doesnt this one look like that plant in the Little Shop of Horrors?

What made me think that giving my kids Styrofoam Swords was a good idea? they are constantly whacking each other and everything in the house. The dramatic scenes though are amusing.

Mr5 was motioning that "hand guy" (hand that always gets him in trouble) was slicing off his Mr5's head? so he falls to the floor, I see it but make no mention of it so he lifts both feet in the air, farts loudly and flops! the feet down, and then his tongue is hanging out "dead". I think it's time for drama class or acting lessons? death scene complete with life's final fart?

the deer haven't been back, but I saw something that looks very much like Stacy's rat! along my back fence. I'm going to ignore this completely. Where oh where are my neighbours 3 outdoor cats when I need them? 

friend calling... chatting chatting complaining about kids not listening, what to do with kids while trying to enjoy summer. You know everything I whine about here too?

Mr5 is putting a Video tape in now. I wonder how he'd do if I got him to put in a exercise Video? anyone remember the Reebo k Caribbean Work outs? haha ah the 90's!  Is it just me or did it seem like the ones working out were just having a big 3yrlong honeymoon with more then one bride involved?Maybe it was only on the Canadian TSN?

Oh update on the potato plants? mr5 planted? We have another sprout! I'll have to take more pictues! he said "I think the worm we put in there pushed it up?" hahah


Has anyone seen mr8.5's Nintendo DS? anyone? come on I can't be the only one looking? and it can't just Vanish? he didn't take it to school. It's not in the laundry, under the sofa, in the sofa cushions or behind the TV stand. It's not in all the places I put it when it's in time out either... it just vanished?

Mr8.5 went to a birthday party this past weekend. He baked a cake, make pizza and a craft and got to take the cake home! win win!

Oh and the cat was helping me read the other night...

yeah I didn't need to read that part of the page? No Oh you've got it read already? some may note this is A Harry Potter book? Aura really got into it, but wanted to read the page before I did? Cats! they call these "personal assistant cats" when advertising this personality on the morning radio shows.

Monday Minute -- My kid Edition

I didn't have to make up any kids, I have one hanging around today, so I asked him to answer these questions. He gladly helped out and added another question, so now there are 6. I hope this means he'll be just as much an over achiever when he gets to Kindergarten in the Fall?

VGNO- Date Night at the KyootyCenter

I know Two posts in one day!! There are weeks, I don't get my writing into more then 1 post a month! yeah I know weeks and month don't match at all mathimatically, but who cares it's Friday!!! my brain is off! (yeah I know what you're thinking when is it ever on, I can read that thought, yep I can)
it's time for VGNO! go on over get you some badges, some drinks and get ready for a great night.

Well truthfully I wont be here tonight, I'm going out for a RNO, a Real Night Out with the Hubbie but you know? I think it's only fair to give those not going out something to read? I totally appreciate when you all leave me something to read. I think it's actually been about 3months since Hubbie and I last went out without the kids and just some alone time (I know there are other people there, but they don't count). No computers, no FB games and just talked. I think I'm most looking forward to the not cooking, for people that will turn their nose up at my food, and the not doing dishes. Yes I know I'll have to do the dishes the kids use for their meal at home but well I wont have ot do MORE dishes?  And yes I do have slaves to do dishes some nights but it's not like they do them happily.

So if you're in the mood for a Bloggy night out, go on visit the other VGNO blogs and get some recipes for drinks, some music and even put some Questions you've been thinking about in the back of your head out there for your blogfriends to read and answer. Food? Here you'll have to ask the Babysitter if she'll open that bag of chips and give you pop? that's all I've got for tonight. There might be dip in the fridge. Help  yourself. Remember to clean up, I'm not doing Those dishes.

I like the talking without the ears? and eyes of the little people trying to figure out what exactly Daddy is saying to Mommy? The boys are getting older, our code has to get tricker. haha.

I didn't smash it with a Hammer, I wanted to but I didn't. I  suspect my "gain" is all about some TOM/AF/PMS and too many Triscuit crackers.  So I'll have to remember this next week when I behave myself completely and leave my sludge Hammer in the car.  I was a bit bummed. I had expected to "stay the same" but not go up! I knew I was bloated but this? totally blew me away. Where's a good stomach bug when you need it?
I will stop whining, get back to the vitamins, the water, the healthy oils, and the walking. It's pouring rain but MJ has rubber boots, he can come with me and I'll let him jump in puddles. I've got to DO something today. I could wiifitplus too. The Rain will not stop me. AF will not stop me! Darn hormones!

I got my last news letter for the School year for My Mrnot quite 11. YAY! And that's it for Elementary school for him. His class is going out mini golfing and to a water park to celebrate. I guess that's what all those Swimming lessons from G3-5 were for?

Mr8.5 is totally "done" with homework for G3, there will be no more homework unless it's emptying desks and bringing your crap artwork and filled up scribblers home to Mom.

BTW anyone else going "What's a Scribbler?" like my kids? If you don't know you can't be a Canadian School kid from the 70's?


Critter Count, the deer have been coming by at supper time for a snack, they come buy and walk along the street even like people. The cars even wait for them to cross or walk. I wonder how conciderate these cars would be if the drivers had guns and hunter orange and a licence to shoot them in my yard? You know I wonder if the deer are getting smarter?  They are telling stories.

Oh guess what else is going on this Tuesday? yep dentist again. I'm getting really sick of handing them over my $$ continually.  I'm starting to think there are different rates for different customers.

Anyone know why Dice is plural and Di is not? Where did they get that C?

I have Zero energy today, I feel great after my walks and sleep like a rock but in the day? I just want to go back to bed? zzzzzzz are calling (zees for you USA, and zed if you don't like me saying zeeeeee)
