I'm a Kyooty and I'm VGNOing it!!

It's Saturday and it's why yes, I did say that in my Friday Fill-ins I'd Driving and entertaining kids? That just didn't happen. Instead of my Friday's plans for the laundry and dish delima? I ended up spending 6hours at the ER. AJ got a stomach bug. We don't know where he got it, from where and why only he got it? The others are healthy as horses? not AJ. nope! he's my catch it before someone else gets it kid. We're going to miss my nephew's Baptism but we will get to see him and his family. YAY!
So today Saturday I'm in need of some Mommy down time.This means linking bonding and heading on over to Ann's and getting yourself a button and some Girls night out linking, and talking. Happy Saturday.

I could totally use me a drink right about now. So how about A virtual Vacation? Sounds like the perfect fit to me. I may have ot Virtually Drink it since there will be driving involved in my day tomorrow.

Yeah I didn't think so. I went shopping lastnight for clothes to wear to Mass tomorrow since well everyone's seen my usual, and wow! even on sale, I'm down a size so that was fun but? When did clothing start costing so much? this was on clearance people? it's not like I was buying YARDS of material, just a pair of denium shorts, dressy capris, a blouse and cami? that's it!93.00
You whooooooo retailers? remember economy? in the toilet? yep! come on give a mom a break. I even suggested to the sales lady I'd blog about her store for a discount? nope, she giggled nervously. I may have also suggested, I be allowed to have the clothes for free? but they are pretty. I'll work on getting a photo soon. If I was going to a blog conference in NYC? yeah I'd totally be able to wear these, so maybe picture it has being Blogconference wear?   I'll get pics up maybe next week. I am kyoot(cute) though, in these new clothes, in better then before sizes. hehe

Friday Fill-ins Predictable?

No, I don't see it. It's Friday.
And...here we go!

1. I feel _tired, overwhelmed at all I have to accomplish before tomorrow morning without dirtying more clothes or dishes____.

2. _I really don't think I'll ever find enough time____ to catch up.

3. Do __I do the laundry first? or the dishes? laundry, dishes or facebook? It's a hard choice___.

4. __I am___ completely unique.

5. It's hard to know how much __money the bank needs to just fork over to me, without there actually being any money of mine in the bank.  Really? if anyone is a Bank or has a lot of money they want to share with no expectancy of getting $ in return? yep email me, send me $ :) Canadian Please! ___

6. __Everyone should___ follows suit.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to __Laundry, ok well looking forward is a bit of a stretch but I'll do it___, tomorrow my plans include _Driving and entertaining kids____ and Sunday, I want to ___Get to Church with Family and friends and celebrate my youngest nephew__!

The Altar of Truth revisited

I haven't posted a lot lately about the Altar of Truth because I've been down on myself. I gained and only lost a tiny bit and was just "bummed" I felt very much like my bum and Belly were out there for all the world to see. Tonight I got the confirmation I needed to keep going. I did what I Was susposed to do, I took my vitamins, I drank my liquids, I ate my fruits and veggies and I got in my milks! yep! total loss for this week? 4.8lbs!!! GO ME!

I think the swimming, house cleaning and chasing boys around the beach also helped. I'm sure hormones were involved too.  Mother nature always has to get her 2Cents in there.

Total loss to date since going back to my meetings and my rules? 16.4lbs! in 12wks.

Random Tuesday boys, summer, go go go

Even my Summer is Random. I can't keep a straight thought at all. If you are feeling this way and want to tag along go on over to Keely's and find yourself some more Random Blogginess to read, and link up!

Tuesday is also garbage day, yep got it done.

Dentist? hubbie randomly went in yesterday, he's got some kind of very painful gum infection. joy! but he does know it's a Tuesday thing right? no probably not.  You guys know it's a Tuesday thing right? I think our Dentist is making a lot of $$ on our family for sure!


Vacations? the only problem with Vacations is paying for them. My van needs repairs, so far hubbie has replaced the fuel filler hose, fixed Tire Rod, Tires aligned and now it's in for a safety. (pray for my van!) I will not be going on vacation without my van. I will sooner stay home and sweat it out here. I can't have us going on vacation in his smaller car.  I'll be mooching on the parents and inlaws I'm sure. (shhhh they dont' read here, yet, but if they come across it later in life?) Thanks family! you rock


I get to see my nephew. I'm going to see my nephew on Sunday he'll be Baptized. I can't wait to hold him. He now weighs in at 16lbs and he's 4months old?


Critter count. NO Bear sightings, one boy who called Bear though. I told him to not touch patio door, (sun comes blazing through there, we don't have a/c) and he says MOM the BEAR IS here! yeah right boy! I know that tale! ugh!
A deer though did bounce across my lawn, it went around my van, and across my lawn over to the better tasting green on the side of the yard. It was kind of cool because he didn't see me on the swinging on the porch, but I saw him, and he was about 5feet from me. The <s/>cage</s>Screened in porch separated us.
The Raccoons are testing out our sensor lights. It's like watching the Hokey Pokey on the cameras after the fact. Light goes on, we check the footage, and then we get "FOOTAGE" cause we see. "put your right paw in, take your right paw out(lights out)... put your nose in, take your nose out...(from another location)" haha ! 2nights ago though he got caught, they know how to shimmy along the garage door way to get to the garbage cans, and open of course the tightly sealed tops. but what they don't count on is hubby and his light sleeping, he flicked a light and OFF they go! then they forget to do the Hokey Pokey! and we see them DART!!!

Well that pool I had pics of Sunday? there is an inflateable Ramp too, the boys slide into the pool at the end. I think the Raccoon, thought there might be food inside it? or was licking the water off and punctured the ramp. 3yrs we used that thing! DARN!

Does anyone know how to rob a bank? without getting charge and without it being illegal? just saying...

Things I'm doing

We went to a Car show, saw about 1500 cars or so, here are some....







Then we had a Birthday.

We also went to the beach but as per the Altar of truth the past 2wks, I am up 2.2lbstotal, so we'll just wait on those pictures... until the 5th of never....

We saw this at the Car show too, definitely a genius idea, talk about eating on the go...

I also had to bite the bullet and actually cook a meal. This went ontop of rice, but it was just premade Meatballs, can of dice Tomatoes, and a can of Sweet Kernal corn, all heated in the same pan.  I used Spanish Rice for those that chose to have some. (insert eye roll) Some had the rice on a seperate plate. Please!

Also we did some of this... Pool boys in Training.

And finally there has been progress in the Tomato Plant department.

Now since it's HOT today we're off to the River to swim again. Anyone want to come with?

My Random, Burning, Bush, Summer, Hot, Humid, Ants?

hello all, it's Random Tuesday again. You know that day of the week where if I'm not too busy, you'll get to hear from me about the previous week? Go on over to Keely's grab yourself a button and get to randomizing.


Interesting enough it's also garbage day in the neighbour hood so I could just come out with garbage. Oh how do you like my neighbour with the u! I've gone all in the last week, next thing you know you'll see this place plastered in the colour red or Zeds being inserted wherever.


So I was over at Menopausal New Mom's and mentioned in the comment section I've got a Burning Bush. Now of course that comment had to come with a "do not enter Gutterville" but I know that Julie over at Momspective will be running for Mayor of Gutterville in a heartbeat after reading that one. It's all good because really it's Randomly Awesome.


Back to my Bush, it is in fact a tree that came with my house, it's a bush, and called a Burning Bush because it turns RED in the late summer early fall. It's beautiful when it happens buttttttt lately? the top end of it is all sticks and branches and no leaves. Anyone know anythign about this? I know I could go all great googly moogly on this one but then I couldn't post about my burning Bush as "dared" by Meno!


Critter Count of the week, no Bear! YAY! no Bear in my woods, in my bushes or in my yard. i'm still walking 4-5days a week and fitting some wiifit in there to work on the muscles walking forgets.We did see A chipmunk take off infront of my path while walking lastnight and some frogs singing in a pond. WOW they can really sing. Not that baby cheep cheep cheep frog sound but the twang of a mouth harp sound.

MJ's tomato Plant is doing wonderful, I was just coming in to take a picture when I started typing away at random. (just plugged in the card reader, and it fell apart in two, this may call for another picture, or a Jury Rigged Altoid box)

Yesterday we went to the Dentist I know it was Monday but the boys all had appointments. You all ahve to remind me MOndays? are not for dentists, and neither are mornings. In an effort to distract the children from their frozen gums and cheeks we ended up shopping. I swear I spend 60.00 on little bits of stuff, but the real winner of the day? We went to Michael's and found Wooden puzzles. They all picked one and 2/3 are completed this morning while mommy slept a bit longer. WOW! It really does show you how your kids brains think.

TJ's? not finished, he's the it can wait brain or oh look shiny? (I'm sure of it)
AJ's? Completed all but the top part by supper time. He sat in his room, and read the instructions 3 times, and pulled it apart and started again and after many words I'd rather not hear him say? he finished it. He? DETERMINED.
MJ? it may have been a bit over his head. TJ went in to help but that resulted in a bit of a "who is right, and who is wrong" discussion. MJ finally walked away, but had all the parts laid out. This morning? AJ went in and more words I'd rather not hear and frustrated tones but he completed MJ's with him too! helpfully.

I've started planning my attack on the trip to the island. I've got a to do list for the honey. hehe HoneyDo? for while I'm gone at first and then I've got my list of "must haves" to go with me. I will be purchasing the Captain before I leave and bringing him with me so this year, I'll get my Drink on the deck after the 3j's are asleep. (I know they wont sleep. I know this! too excited)

We are also going to a Baptism that Weekend. YAY! I'm excited about that one, and will get to squish and squeeze my new Nephew.Hes only 3.5months old now! and I haven't met him yet.

"we are in Canada" said mom, "oh ok, can we go to Canada and bounce on the bouncy house?" so 15.00 later for a day of bouncing in 6 different bouncy houses he's one Happy Canadian.

also something different we saw on Canada Day... This is part of a musical Show that will be playing in town here at the Town house.

Also that light house behind it? That's where my profile pic was taken 3yrs ago. on top. I hate heights but I did it.

1. What do you look forward to the most on the 4th of July?
This year? sleeping in, but it didn't happen some child woke up early claiming they were hungry? really how hungry can you be after a 10hours of sleep? Not much going on up here today, I could wow the neighbours or shock them and pull out my USA flag from my 5yrs of living in the USA. I'll have to go dig up all those USA shirts I bought at The Children's Place.
Or we could just keep celebrating Canada, we're younger, so it's like we are the little kid at the party, we want to blow out your Candles. We want to get the first piece of cake and we think the party is for us? :) Here let me help you unwrap that...
2. Are you a hugger?
Yes!

3. What is your favourite BBQ'd food?
BBQ Montreal Steak! so yummy. A friend we had when living in the USA pointed out this recipe to us right on the side of the Montreal Steak Spice. I've since lowered my olive oil measurements.

4. Do you like to watch parades?

yes but this year my Canadian City didn't have one due to some construction. They couldn't block a road, for 20minutes. (roll eyes)
5. Who has stinkier farts..boys or girls?
Boys of course, I've got a house full of them! The cat and I do not stink, but the males? omg!

6. Vampires or Werewolves?
none. I've got fox, bears and deer here with the occasional Raccon? oh with eyes like that maybe he's a masked Vampire? they come out at night?

7. Do you read your horoscope?
no
8. What is your favourite flavor of ice cream?
There are so many kinds of ice cream what's not to like about one versus another. I'd hate to leave one out. I remember though were were driving a trail route around the Island in 1987/88ish and it was just before the Canadian Olympics in Calgary I think because they had a flavour called Olympic Gold, wow it was good. Do you think I could find it now if I tried? So I'll eat any kind of ice cream you offer me.
