Words Wednedsay

It would help if I actually wrote something. Sorry about that. Clicked a Button without posting. It's Hump Day these things Happen. So I thought some of you might like an update on the What's this? Post.
So this is the finished product for now. Dh may do some updates if he finds the balls are getting damaged. The blue tarp is covering a Pitching Machine we bought last year. It came with a Frame but the frame wasn't standing up to the heat, and wind. Canada gets windy in parts, so we (he designed, I modified the idea) and built our own frame. We'll take the net off for the winter, so the ice doesn't break it and lock away the machine come Octoberish but this is what the boys have decided they like doing in the summer. They are Fast Pitch players.  Our youngest is in Learn to Play and our oldest too are playing on a team together. Dear Hubbie is coaching. Yep another thing for his time. The kids are enjoying it.

What's this?

No we didn't buy a horse!

But when a man gets tools and wood in his hands the building begins. Any guess what this will turn into?  Oh yes it's raining again.

Random Tuesday Thoughts Flyby

Hi there, miss me? yes I miss me too. Summer vacation is still a go. All boys accounted for. I know you were worried. So I'm going to get my Random on Today, it's another rain day.

Stacy

We had our "get away from it all vacation" earlier this month. We went to Upper Canada as they used to say, and landed in Niagara Falls. Beautiful! I just can't say enough beautiful things about the area. The people are supper friendly too, as they all seem to be out of towners. (not sure if that's a coincidence)
Captured a Whale of a show.

Did you know you can camp in the Toronto Zoo? We did not.

We didn't tell our boys where they were going this year. We got all the way inside Ontario in BrockVille At the Kelseys Before we told them where we were going.

I just have to put a shout out to the staff at Kelsey's they were excellent. My poor waitress, first I accidently tripped her when my foot was hanging out the booth. (oops) One of the boys accidently dropped their whole full large fountain drink  all over the table. (oops!)  She was great. Her smile continued.  The boys had been in the car for a day and 1/2 at that point.

Quebec was nice too. It certainly was a nice change from our previous visits to the province. We've never had "good" luck in Quebec before.  Something to do with my language skills? The boys read the signs and practiced their accents (while speaking broken English) HA!

They've got some Humour ha-ha!
Once we got home we celebrated my oldest's birthday, this involves food of course. He picked the meatest pizza Greco Makes.
Meaty Meat Pizza

And incase you thought we were freezing our butts off up here in Canada. Remember...
yep Canadian Summer.

So we took the kids here...

Loving that he Lifeguards got Shades this year, excellent use of my Park Fees.

HA!!! I just saw this critter out in my yard, when I went out? it shot across the yard like a bat out of hell. Well wouldn't you know it this song that just came on the radio? is Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell!   HA!!! I wonder  if they are reading my posts? HA!

Woodchuck? Gopher?
Uploading more pics from the camera to help tell more of these stories.

So that's about wraps up the first part of the Summer.  Quebec I think could have been a longer stay maybe another year.

Also Happy Random Tuesday Thoughts.
