This Morning's Garden Look

Today I have some morning photos.. but of course the children have used up all the batteries in the house for their wiimotes. No homework means I actually feel like they had a chance to use the wii! amazing what an hour or 2 of no homework will do for a kids free time. YAY!

We are down to the last week of the school year. This is the last year of G1, G5 and G7. It makes me wonder just where oh where the time went.

Happy belated Father's Day to all the Dads and Father's and Grandfathers and Great Grandfather's and those giving kids a Daddy role when a Father just can't.
Oh wait I just remember hubbie's cam has batteries...

So I went out and took some flower pics, just so you aren't still thinking I'm stuck in snow.  There are years I really do think it's a miracle that spring and summer do show up...

I just noticed my ring is sideways and I'm missing my other ring? hmmmm must go find that ring.

This spring I took the time to remove some large trees under the front windows and let the flowers bloom and take over. I also mulched in between some breaks. I can't wait to see how the roses do this year.

Just keep moving

I don't have a wordless Wednesday post this week so I'll just say Happy Hump Day.  The snow is all gone! yep gone and the world is green again. It took me a few days this week to uncover where I put my camera so I have no new pics on it. The last I think are the easter pics but there is a bit going on here.
I didn't Random Tuesday so I'll just Random today. I've had a few comments here and all my kyooty.blogspot that tell me that I'm definitely slacking.
So I'll start with me... I'm trying to work on the extra weight. I've put on a bit.. in 2003 I lost 80lbs total, I was aiming for 75 at the time. So I'd like to get to where that 75 off was again. As of tonight it will take me 60more lbs to go. I accidently forgot to change out of my jeans, why yes it's still cold enough for jeans today. I'm walking again, and using my treadmill almost religiously. I'm at the "have to" phase. I have to do it everynight. I aim for 30minutes a night and once I get that done. I do get the drive to continue. 
The boys have about 12 more school days. Most of this time will be lots of "fun" time. It seems the schoosl have all ready checked out because they know the kids have checked out. They can't get much more out of them so now is the time for the teachers to pull out their best attention getting tricks.
We're trying to keep the boys busy ourselves while also looking for interesting thingsf or them to do. The oldest will be doing community soccer this year, mostly to keep him moving, he's not a huge sports fan, this is all fun. Our second son is doing softball. He's loving it! Hubbie has taken him 2 nights so far and says he's really impressed with his interest. YAY! The babe! yeah right 7.5! is doing t-ball once a week and swimming lessons in early Summer. I myself am not a swimmer so this is a bit of a struggle. I don't want to pass on my nervousness to the boys. Really this is what's on my mind, but I know I don't want them nervous either..
So that's the news here. I'll work on some late spring pics. I even did some gardening this spring. I put out mulch and trimmed up some trees. My challenge now is the bees are all a buzz which keep me from going out often to keep the weeds down.

Random Tuesday Thoughs, Chairs, Dentist, Easter, Spring right?please?

Good morning, yep it's Tuesday morning and I'm actually here. Yep joining the Random Tuesday Rebel Stacy She's Stacy Uncorked Today well it the Tuesday back to the usual go go go... If you remember my Tuesday's from the last 2 yrs, guess where I'm going today?? come on you'll never guess. hahaha yep the dentist. Small filling. Seems fitting after Chocolate weekend. Speaking of all that chocolate. I did well not eating it all this weekend, my situation was the chocolate I ate "before" the bunny got here. There is plenty of proof now attached to my chair. Speaking of Chairs...

Yep it snowed... again. Why yes I live in Canada. How did you ever guess? So just for kicks, since this chair is like the biggest fan base on my FB, I've got people asking for a fan page... seems like more work... I did this too.

Also as you can see I wasn't going out back to put the basket on the other chair, brrrrrr! Today it's about 50% melted. I can only hope this means that the grass will get a nice slow "water down" and turn green when the sun returns. The sun will return right? well that's all the Random I can come up with this week. I'll go back to taking notes for next week. Something... ohhhhhhhh yes! My Oldest Son is a Provincial Champ in his sport. No not the curling child.
