Snow!! And I Think More Snow!

It's no Secret that here at Kyootycenter that I love snow. Yep! love it! I don't know why. I would guess that my Dad would say it has something to do with the snow flake that fell on my nose the day they took me home from the hospital. The story, is repeated almost every winter. Almost every guy I dated has heard the story. They probably also saw the smoke rising from the top of my head every time the story was told. I wonder if it was a kiss from Jack Frost, or just a little message from the Heavens?
This weekend we got a LOT of snow...
Chairs for review?

After storm 1 On Friday

Gonzo During Storm 2

Then Stunt Double Vanished.

And then things  got really Silly. We had gone to See The Lego Movie During Storm 1.  Guarenteed not to be sold out due to Weather. A Nice Valentine's evening with my Boys! They shoveled us out first, they had no idea we were going to the movie until we got in the car, and got our tickets.  Just in case the weather  didn't cooperate.  We had a great evening, The Lego Movie was fabulous! Definitely a fun way to spend a storm. So my youngest and I did this.

The next day we did some more clearing out and I with a friend took 3 of our 5 boys out sliding.  It was the calm before the storm after the storm before.
Sunday our world shut down again.

No Sunday School, No Mass, No Curling. My older curler resorted to using the Wii and playing Mario and Sonic at the Olympics 2010.
Practicing his Stretch
So now today I hear there is more snow coming this week!! YaYYYYYYY!!

Random Tuesday Thoughts

I know I haven't been posting much lately, but today I'm going to put one out there today!

Random... Dentist. I don't know why but Tuesdays always seem to be the best days for dentist for us.

The boys are busy this time of year. It's hard to get them everywhere but I do it. I just do it. I guess that's really a sporty idea right there  isn't it?  Curling is wonderful, and getting to the busy part of the year and I'm trying to keep up. I can see watching the Olympics today that it's an amazing commitment to pick a sport. One of the boys is also doing "production" and he's given up a few tournaments this year so that he could practice for the school Spring Production. I find this to be a big difficulty for him. He's got an great stage personality, he loves it, but he can't be in 2 places at once and it's very much like the silly scenes in Disney's High School Musical. (thank you wikipedia) Those in Prodution, do not understand the time needed for sports. So he's missed out on a few tournaments. We will have to make the decision of next year. Curling? or Drama? but I feel bad that he feels that pressure to want to try and experience but yet not enough time. Sports? or Art?

I was on my way into the Dollar (or more really now) store and had thought of a great part to add to today's random? Do you think I can think of it now? nope! gone I can picture me exactly pushing the store door open. oh wait! yep I got it now. (see you can go back in time). The car parked infront of me had a Hockey Helmet on the back window. Now I didn't take a picture that might be rude but my thoughts went right to the thought that it wouldn't be very good if they made a sudden stop? and that Helmet went flying and hit someone in the head? Head protection fail?  #Nailedit? Or would it be #Nogginit?

The snow is coming back the end of this week. I can't wait. I must be a winter baby? yep. I love snow flakes falling, I love sliding? (I've grabbed the kids sleds when I gt home from my daily walk, and gone for a ride or many) I love walking in the snow. It's so peaceful especially when no one is driving through it. So Quiet so peaceful. Loving Winter!

For those looking for the chair? let me go get you a pic.
Feb11th

The lower pic is from earlier this week, Stunt Double is on the right needed some attention. Batting Cage, is still standing strong and the boys are looking forward to spring Fast pitch season.
Today the sun is shining so you can feel ever at -15C with the windchill that spring will come, the sun is brighter and shinier and Happier looking as it plays on the snow!
