Kids start school back tomorrow. YAY!!! Go me, I think my house needs a spa day! I'll get the tree down and the decorations. I was thinking of having a nice dinner for old Christmas, I'll see if I still feel like it after the demolition.
The tree is getting in the way of my wiitime. I did 3/4 days this year as of lastnight. I will go again today. Santa brought wiifit plus, so I have to get better at my skateboard moves. my kids of course were laughing, and rolling their eyes at me, but hey I'm #1, 2 and 3 right now, so :PPPPPPPPPPP on them! we are not going to discuss the word the wii used to discribe my stats. :(. I'll save that for a HASAY post... when I can face the music. speaking of music, I'm getting better at marching with a band.
The one thing I hate about the Christmas demolition is the way the house looks after, naked! I'm going to have to resort to using hearts on everything? or would that be too girly for this house of Menstuffs?
My Christmas tree was already manned up, with a trainset beside it that all the boys (all including the BIG one I married) playing with it daily! I can still hear the engine going around the track in my head, around and around and around. They called it soothing? I called it repetitive and it makes me a bit crazy. It did look nice but that was it. We can't put the "village" trees up because the cat will eat them.
Seems Santa thought the cat should get gifts too this year. She got a new bed. It's softer than my bed, but do you think she will move off my bed? noooooooo spoiled! totally spoiled
TEA! the tea crisis is now over, the inlaws and Santa brought me a Kettle, (2 kettles one each and I don't dare return any)and then I went to visit the family on the island and my sister bought me a teapot, with some nice raspberry and Holiday teas, and thennnnnnnnnnn I opened another bag and there were two candy cane mugs. I don't even want to put them away they are just so darn kyoot! so today I've got my tea on! YAY!
Abandon Chair will be replaced this year by Hemi Orange BBQ as the our snow measure. Saturday's Hemi orange BBQ measure was... and then it rained and it all got heavy but didn't melt. So it's till at the same level. The divit in the snow is the path I forged New Year's Eve to the BBQ so that I could BBQ steaks for New Years Eve Supper.
It looks like I've cropped the pic down to a slim figure but those are the sides of the patio door.
The price of Steak that week? Almost nothing, and the taste of BBQ steak while the world around you looks white? yummy! I had the manditory New Year's Salad with it. :P
So that's my Random Tuesday Thoughts for this week, come back next week, I'm sure I'll be back, go visit some other Random Tuesday Bloggers too, go to Keely's and click along, it's a great way to find some Random new stuffs to read or see.

Holy Moses Batman! That's a lot O Snow.
My Chick keeps pointing at the corner where the tree was and goes "Twee? Twee?" then brings on the aligator tears. Geesh!
Happy RTT!
I livw where we get a fair amount of snow. I also BBQ year round.
My husband thinks I am crazy but hey he enjoys the steak or kabobs when they are on his plate.
you seriously went out into THAT and BBQed?! crazyness.
It looks like you have about the same amount of snow that we have. I'm not enjoying that.
I'm thinking of getting that WiiFit!
We love to BBQ in the winter! It just takes better!!!
Ooh. We are winter BBQers as well. Luckily ours is right out on our deck & not covered in mounds of snow like yours!
I have yet to take down our tree. Well, I took down our old tree & put up the new one hub bought on clearance last week. We have one more Christmas this weekend & I couldn't have a bare living room for it :)
I know what you mean by a spa day.
Have a great Random Tuesday.

My Dad grilled all year round, too! In snow as high as that. I miss it. Can you convince PB that grilling isn't a summer sport?
I'll miss the tree when it comes down, too. Sigh, reality sets in as the holidays wear off.
Why do they wait until Wed. to start? Glad your doing Wii, it's so much fun, I need one! Yes, the house will look very empty, I think it will be a good thing.
Santa always shops for our pets.
Glad you got your tea. Wow, look at the snow....
Boy that's a lot of snow!Send some our way.. but no storms please!! thanks you very much:)
Happy Tuesday and here's my Randomness today!
You are a braver woman than I. BBQ'ing in the snow? I won't even BBQ when it's chilly outside (yes, I'm a weather wimpy Californian).
snow? what's snow?
i don't know what i would do without my grill. i use it EVERY DAY. i guess i would explore trends in the world of scrambled eggs?
you are so kyoot, the way you talk about you house being full of manstuffs. personally, i think that's why i HAVE to put up girly things. or else, my boys will be totally culture shocked when they get married!
go on with your bad self, and decorate with adorable pink and red V day stuff! yay! :-)
I was stuck in Syracuse for a week in Dec and have to go back for 2 in Feb. Even though I lived there for 25 years, I'm terrified of it. Cold scares me. c
I just bought my hubby a stovetop cast iron grill so he can grill inside during winter. You guys are hard core!!!
The kids going back to school always deserves a celebration.
The snow! We're in the low 40s/upper 30s here this week and it's more than I can stand, gimme my tropical weather!
Happy Tuesday. Enjoy your Wii.
Wow, that snow has me mesmerized! And, no fair! My kids don't go back till Monday!
My feet are shivering just looking at your grill. Hope you got some relaxing in while the kids went to school today but with one still at home, I'm sure you didn't.
Our tree has been down since the day after Xmas since I was sick of the kids pulling off all of the bottom ornaments every day.
It's cold here too. Not Canada cold but cold nonetheless.
Omigosh that is SO much snow. Holy cow. Stay inside and keep warm (and I say go for the hearts. My house looks naked too, and hearts are nice and cheery).
