So I did get a reply to the Calendar situation. The company will now keep Canada Day on Canada Day, July 1st.
I thought some might like to know. They also offered me a free Calendar for 2013 but I said "no" because well I know the path of freebies. Freebies cost the company money, that money is then tagged onto the price of the product for other customers.
