RTT May two four to be gone

Happy Tuesday, Yah I know I thought it was Monday too. It felt like a Monday up here in the great white. Oh wait, that was NewFoundland! (giggle). We had a pretty good long weekend here. Yep Victoria Day weekend is come and gone. I'm sure there are some two fours come and gone.

If you're here for Random Tuesday Thoughts? I think I can find me some and maybe even link up. Go See Stacy, she's a Random Cool Chick and she's uncorked.

So the weekend was nice, well before the rain. Saturday was beautiful. We're still working on the deck in the back yard. "We're" means all my men folk. Lawns? nope not mowed but rocks have been removed from the lawn so that the mowers don't throw them all over or bend the blades. The neighbours all seem to have this spring mowing thing all figured out. Everyone's lawn looks better than mine of course. I did though have some Critters show up Friday and Sunday night. Two Deer each night munching away on my prized Dandelions. You know because what's a lawn without dandelions? They might though, have been after my violets? or wild strawberry plants. Whatever? as long as there is less to mow.

Speaking of Critters, Friday morning I woke up to get everyone breakfast and out the door to school and what do I see lumbering over the fence? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't a cat!  Black and white though and tres furry, oui oui oui?

Yes! Les Skunk? Les P U! Les Fume!!!  And no they aren't as cute as they are in cartoons.

The deck work, well the chairs have had a meeting... .

And decided that they will take up pole dancing? or is it Polish Dancing? The meeting has been tabled for another time..

So you can see the Polar Chairs  have been rescued from their Winter jobs as Snow Gauges and are now working hard overseeing the deck improvements and Lawn work.

A Spring.

We just got our patio done (you know this) and haven't had animal problems with the garden because of the fence but there are these crazy Southern Kudzu bugs that are attacking us. I'm flipping out!

We have our Memorial Day celebration this weekend. The weather is supposed to be awful.

Ahh spring! The time of year when everyone's lawn looks better then mine too! :) Here's a question, who decided dandelions were bad? Why can't we just embrace them?
