I'm sure you are all wonder how the chairs survived the storm? It seems there was a lot of snow. The Provincial Plows got it taken care of and then we went out and cleared the rest. The boys did not get their much wished for snow day today. We Canadians we clean up nice! s'noproblem.
It started like this...
As the day went on it warmed up, and the snow kept on coming.
In order to keep me busy, I made fudge.

This is my Mother-in-law's recipe, and it works every time. And I I got to the point where I actually got it to the right temp without using my timer! Go Me. What? you want to see the finished fudge? uh well uh... sorry the boys helped me eat it. I did put a piece in their lunches today. I know I'll get the evil eye from the school teachers but ha! it's December. They've just worn off their post Halloween sugar rushes. Time for new ones. And they worked off most of it playing in the snow.
The Canadian Child was the first one out the door.
And then we continued to watch the snow fall, and fall and fall. I fell asleep in the evening watching Christmas Girl Movies on W. And wow! Candace Cameron? yeah she's not DJ anymore.
So This morning I woke up to this...

I wish I could make fudge, I would screw it up. It needs to come in a package in order for me to make it.
