So it seems I'm addicted to Social Media. I'm addicted to socializing with the friends inside my computer.
FB- I like the Games and keeping in touch with my friends and family. I can keep up with what's going on "home" from here. I left home almost 19yrs ago. When I first got married I was VERY homesick.
When I left home all those years ago I turned to email and other socializing on my computers. All my "friends"' were inside my computer. I didn't see some in person, but then came "classmates" you all remember classmates right? That site that wanted you to pay money to talk to your friends or find their email addresses? I signed up there using a nickname that told my School friends who I was and where I was free.
During that time there were also other places I could "meet" friends and talk about life. We talked about our kids, we talked about our families, we talked about raising our kids. I've met a whole lot of Mom's on the internet. I haven't met them all in person. We still email, and chat. It's wonderful to have these friends.
Once I found one or 2 friends I found more friends. In 2005 after the birth of my youngest I started blogging. I thought it would be a fun way for the kids to read about their lives later in life. Now? I'm not sure they want to read all this? Do they want to read about Mom's reaction to their kids being kids? I could say boys being boys just because I have boys but really kids will be kids. Kids learn by doing and they learn by watching us. My kids are also addicted to Tech.
So today instead of spending my time posting on FB I'm here blogging about not being able to post on fb. I've liked about 8 things on my phone today that I can't "lilke"' because there is a service error. I tried to use the phone? So maybe I'm wordless there but not so wordless here today.

Aww. It's hard when you can't visit your "imaginary" friends - they are so real and truer than true - I know.
Great post!
I shared!
I count my friends inside the computer as some of my best friends too. I am thankful every day for the wonderful world that is opened up via Facebook, Twitter and blogging :)
I consider you one of my best friends and I've never met you so I'm very happy to be a blogging buddy!
