To the Beach!

Today we are heading out to the beach but I thought I'd send in a picture of us at the Beach on the island. This is a provincial Park there, with grass to lay your towel in and rocks to walk over in the water. If you don't like the rocks and sea weed you learn pretty fast to float over them to the sandy parts.

For some reason though today I can't add a photo? I'm not sure why?

so I'll use this one. Summer, boys,Beach

This is my 3 boys and my sister's son too. He's 2 but he's well on his way to following his older cousins everywhere they go. I'm going to call in some favors from the family and see if they have better Beach pictures. The water was so warm, and salty, the River is fed by the Ocean so still salty at this end. There are many more places to swim in this River. I went to a Camp further inland from here. We took canoes to this sight from the Camp. That for me was a bit scary as I didn't know how to swim. Long live the Life Jackets!

I missed getting the ocean shots and I'm a bit bummed. I may have some in my archives from previous trips.

Have you seen how fair haired and pail my boys are? Sunscreen! :) My husband has already had 2 rounds of skin cancer so we keep the boys well covered.

I haven't been to the beach ONCE all summer.
Is it a beach or a lake?

This picture of of the River, that's fed from the ocean. I'll find some new pics from the ocean.

I really want to take my kids to the beach after seeing that. Then I think about them running full speed toward the ocean and think again.
