Today is the day, I have to sign up my littlest for school next year. This is a big step, I'm a bit nervous, no more baby? I'm not ready, he's totally ready, the boy is making signs like "no pooping on my bed Aura" for the cat, with help from the brothers but he's making the letters and asking "how do you spell" not to be confused with "howwwwwwwww you say..." which would be his bilingual coming through... HA!! OK no he doesn't say that, but it's still funny. "howwwwww you spell..." hahah that he definitely spells and it does sound exactly how you hear Peppy le Pew saying it in your head. And he even bounces, so it fits.
Right now he's trying to make the Mom lose her mind as he's snots all over the DVD collection while also laying the discs on the floor so they are good and scratched. WHYYYYYYYYY???
The 4 letter word was announced on the radio this morning during the weather, you know the word. I suspect this calls for a trip to the department stores so I can go into mass debt buying 4letter word suits, mitts, hats and other stuff they will lose either at the school, or on the bus or at Grandma's house at Christmas.
I baked this past weekend, I baked a Banana Loaf, and 2 batches of apple muffins. Apple Muffins are the best thing I've found for lunches because the boys think that brown sugar topping is candy. I call it essential for the apple to do it's work.
We had our Ham for Thanksgiving but you know after all was said and done and even with headaches branching 3 days I miss the Turkey. Friday I'll buy a turkey, I missed it and yes I know I'll be doing it again in November for my mini Americans but still must have more turkey.
ACK! The Mini Canadian is asking where his Buzz Lightyear Toy is, uh uh uh I think maybe possibly it may have uh flew with style out to the garbage can about two years ago? ... uh oh.... Oh I think this calls for "oh I think we gave it to (nephew), because he's getting to be a big kid?" do you think I'll get away with it?
Oh I had the weirdest Dream ever on Sunday morning, headache kept me in bed until noon, trying to ignore my head pounding, (Darn Buzz made it upstairs, no lying necessary, go me for not letting go of anything) and I woke up and had tell Hubbie the dream. He came in and says "do you want to adopt a saxophone kid or a Trombone kid?" and I said "huh, what about both?" so suddenly I'm in the neighbours yard on the island (beside mom's house), and I'm in their garage, and I see bolted to the wall two vacuum cleaners, one called the Saxophone Windish tunnel and the other the Trombone Windish tunnel, and I start to take them apart to see what they do. Apparently one is supposed to be a Steamer and vacuum. I'm starting to use it on the neighbour's lawn(which suddenly turns into carpet). It's just a steamer, I yell to Hubbie, he's off picking blue berries with my kids in the old horse race practise track I used to go to as a child, and he comes over "yeah it's just a steamer" He's also giving me that "you weren't supposed to get up and look at them" look. So I open it, pull that plastic strap that toys have to turn off the demo program? you know "Elmo wants to be a chicken" and he stops right well the strap that keeps it from stopping and then you kick yourself for taking it out, because you can't stick it back in? So then Hubbie looks at it and says "well it's got a dishwasher in it" and so we buy/adopt that one.
Weird dream but what makes it weirder is that I tell hubbie, and he says "you really want a new Dishwasher don't you?" (yeah I've only been asking for 3yrs) and I said "and a steamer and vacuum too?" then the mean shot "wow you are domesticated!" Yep it's happened I'm dreaming about appliances.
So even my dreams are random, one minute I'm asleep in my bed and next I'm vacuuming my mother's neighbours lawn with my steamer that's a dishwasher.

That last part of the dream was outlandish, but completely awesome for a dream.
Whenever I don't have turkey on Thanksgiving, I miss it too. We do ham on Christmas though.
The turkey really does MAKE Thanksgiving. Oddly enough there is no other time of year when I eat roasted turkey, other than the prepackaged deli stuff.
I made banana bread last week because I had some overripe bananas and ended up eating at least 3/4 of it myself. I have no willpower when it comes to baked goods.
If I start dreaming about appliances, it's a good indication I need to leave the house for an extended period. ;)
I cannot believe all of the places getting that four lettered word already. yuck!
Have a great Tuesday!

I'd kill for snow right now. Sorry, I said the word out loud. I'd also kill for my kids to both be old enough for public school. Just one of those days, I guess.
Happy RTT!
Funny, we both posting about our dreams today.
I know what you mean about school. My oldest is starting school next year too and I'm not ready at all. I don't have to register until February though, so I have more time to mentally prepare myself.
My dad once dropped a load of fertilizer on the lawn and then used the vacuum to suck up all the excess before it killed the grass. Saved the lawn. killed the vacuum.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Dream posting - that's a GREAT idea! I had ham on Sat and turkey on Sunday this weekend. Problem solved.
Brown sugar topping is candy.
What a fantastic dream!! Did you look it up to see what exactly it means besides the fact that you want some new appliances!!
And, yummo on the apple muffins and banana bread.
Did you take photos of the snow?
Happy "belated" RTT!!
Hi all Thanks for stopping by to read, the snow didn't happen, the frost definitely did happen and my trees are stripping in the back yard.
My little guy is ready to start school also I think -- not so much in terms of sitting still (he can't!) but more because he needs the social and intellectual interaction :-) And the fact that he has been driving me up a wall lately!! He's going to be the class clown though I know it and I foresee many teacher visits in my future!
I love reading about your kids -- they sound like so much fun!
I need to make some banana bread -- I love that! I made chocolate chip cookies this week so far :-)
Ahh...early turkey. Yet another reason I love Canada...
