Writer's Blog/Block?

I have no idea what to put in here. Random Tuesday's are easier then this because there doesn't have to be a topic, no ryhme or reason to write. Monday's don't make it easier.
I guess if I just start writing something, something will come to mind. I do have a question though. Are boys all easily distracted? Is it in their brain make up? My oldest has seemed to reach the age where he doesn't care about school work? Remember when they first go to school and you say "but the teacher wont like it?" that doesn't work any more. Is it that the teacher doesn't care? or is it that the kid doesn't care? There has to be an answer out there somewhere?
If I hear one more time he's "easily distracted" I'm going to lose it because I can totally see him getting sucked into a book for 2hours at a time and doing nothing but reading? Does that sound like an easily distracted person? I don't think so, if it was me? I'd be reading the book, playing FB games, running the washing machine, and then forgetting where I laid the book and why the laundry detergent went into the Sink with the dishes?

Boys! will I ever figure them out? I'm not sure but oh my sister just had a new Baby Boy this weekend, so I'm sure there will be lots of test cases before they all reach adulthood right?  I don't think I'll ever understand Boys really, I didn't when they were my brothers, or my boyfriends, or Hubbie, and now Sons?

My son was the same way in high school. He didn't do it unless he wanted to.

Now college...he's focused!

My oldest is the same way. Both last year and this year, teachers have been frustrated with his inattentiveness. Basically, when he's told to sit still and be quiet and do what someone else tells him to do all day, he gets bored! I think kids "check out" mentally in school because sometimes it's the only freedom they have.

My sons are so easily distracted it's hysterical -- everytime a shiny, bright object goes by that's it -- they're gone again!!

NO, you won't figure them out.
Congratulations on your new nephew.
It's probably just spring fever and wanting school to come to an end for the year.

I think it's just a kid thing, the distractions. The creative kids want to take in everything around them instead of focusing on one task.

At least that's what I'm telling myself.
