I know that not all my readers are experienced in SNOWDOM so I like to share my Snow life. It happens every Winter here and every spring it melts. There has not been a spring yet that hasn't turned into HOT Blazing summer in all the years I've live in snow worlds. I've lived on the Island, in Central Canada (those to the far west call it Eastern Canada but really it just shows that they cut Canada off at Quebec...) and the North Eastern Coast of the USA. It's been fun. I have always experienced either Snow flurries, a Snow storm or Foggy Breath for my Birthday in November. I call it tradition. People look at me when I say "it always snows on my birthday" and try to point out it's not snow but really if you just blow a breath out? it turns to snow after the fog. I'll keep that tradition. Funny thing, when we were kids we used to pretend we were smoking? Our kids don't do that, you know because it's not really something that they "get", YAY for changing times.
Some days there is too many mini dramas going on in life that I don't post but the snow? unless you don't have Winter Snow Tires? there is no drama.
Well there may be some drama on who gets to shovel it. First Snow falls typically involve some "me first" and some "I want to shovel" in comparison to the later winter snow falls which involve. "I don't want to" and "ok no allowance..." (Mom wins, and points out 3rd time around hernia scar...it's all about the win... it is though good exercise) Last night I went walking in this, my walking partner wears glasses, she was blind by the time she got home. BTW that's 5 days of walking in snow this week. I don't know that I could ever live where it didn't snow?

The snow shoveling this year is going very well, it hasn't snow near as much as winter 2009, and the Chairs? they are fine, they are still basking in the sun.. well other then the storm yesterday

And you know I'm dedicated to sharing these because this is how I captured this morning's pictures...
 |
| yep slippers... do not try this at home if you have snow |
 |
| And you know who will have to clean this meltage up right? |
So if that's not enough snow for you and talk of snow and slipping, driving, playing (we are going sliding this weekend I'll have to get some more video of the Hubbie risking life and limb on the runs), and abandon snow chairs? well you can pop over to my
other blog which seems to have turned into Morning views blog? ... haha

it really is just adapting to your surroundings. you said you couldn't live where it didn't snow. I couldn't live where it snowed that much. :)
The question my husband always asks is where does the white go when the snow melts? This has made for some fanciful conversations with Turbo.
Holy moly, you had that right - our posts are completely different! I could tell you loved the snow when I'd complain and you'd sound wistful lol. Cute little fuzzy feet!
I love this! I love the slippers in the snow.
heehee, your fuzzy blues are so cute!
Wow! Thassalottasnow! I too love those slippers. Cookie monster feet.
wow! you are like a pioneer woman!
I am happy to be living in Southern California, have been here for 21 years. I am about 45 minutes from snow if I want to be, also from the beach.
That being said I did enjoy the 38 years of snow in Chicago. I actually loved driving in it, I always loved the challenge. I didn't enjoy shoveling but I did it. The snow is really beautiful. Love the pictures of the chairs.
The snow is beautiful. I say if it's going to be cold, let it snow! The weather does not cooperate! LOVE the slippers!
I'm going to be flying to Canada. What's your nearest airport and before I say I'm flying there, let's click our heels three times and wish I get the job.
