Quotes from Mr8, " we were talking about brains in school, yeah how Aliens eat them?" "Mom your brain is cut in 4, did you know that? and your Brain is an oval shape" hmmmm anyone starting to wonder if he's going to be a Space Doctor?

Apparently the back of your Brain is off limits until you are an adult? hmmmm starts working when you are 20? I'm pretty sure I know some 20yrolds not using that part?

Critter Count? Way down, I only saw a CAT this week, a house cat varity. I'll take a House Cat over a House Fly any day!!!

Boys have been involved in Festival work this week, I was almost having a FIT though because they need certain clothes for Certain Concerts. I'm going shopping tomorrow, yes I know last minute, for Thursday's performances.
I was hemming pants Sunday night at my keyboard here, to get a pair of pants the right length for MR10.

The leaves are really starting to bloom this week I'll have to take my Camera with me when I take mr5 out walking. He's all kinds of excited about our spring walks starting up gain. We go and look at frogs and fish and throw rocks and trees, and in the ditch to make a splash. I'd like to move his rock splashing to the HUGE puddles at the end of the driveway.hehe

I suspect Hubbie has entered the Midlife Crisis Phase, he's adding Light to the underside of his car... I can hear one of my girlfriends thanking me for snapping him up on the night they were due to meet.

There are now only 8 more weeks of school year. YAY!!! I can't wait for the beach. I may take the boys out to the provincial Park with their Remote Control Trucks in the Sand Piles some Weekend soon.

I think I just felt my face move? weirdddddddddd

Oh you know you've been sucked way too far into a FB game when you become leader ofn an alliance ranked 14, and feel all kinds of cranky when drop in score to 15.  This game is THAT sad, I am that SAD.

I've decided in order for me to live a longer healthier life that I have to go back to my weight watcher meeings. I'm going tomorrow night. WAHHHHHH someone hold my hand? I'm sure there are plenty of people at the meetings for that but oh bummer, I'm so mad at myself for letting a lot of my hard work in 2003,-2009 go to waste.

Note, just because you can get your pants on and zipped doesn't mean they fit. k!
BTW Earth Day? wht did you do? I just celebrated by dad cause well it was his birthday first. I should have bought him a tree?

Does anyone still watch TV? yeah? really? are you serious?

We got Mail!!! Thank you note!

I've been on the internet now since I met My Hubbie in 1992, and in the words of my new friend in a note I received yesterday "The world just keeps getting small" and you know she's so right. I've met some really nice people online. I love reading blogs, I love reading emails from real people. Yesterday I got some more Friendly internet interaction. I love replying to blogs, I love talking to you all. I love that you read my blog, cause really it's all about attention for me. But yesterday, some of that attention shifted to my AJ.

A bit back Headless Mom over at The Adventures of the Headlless Family Posted about her HBs being done with Pokemon cards. My boys are just getting into it. Funny how that works. I think both our boys are about 7ish?
The post by Headless Mom was here And being a good reader I replied, and learned a bit more about Pokemon.

Yesterday when Hubbie got home he had the mail pile, you know the "bills" I'd really wish Bill would change his address, I'm tired of cleaning up his dirty work. In the middle of the pile. I see a package! YAY! package. I had just been talking to Headless Mom the night before about the fact that it can take 2wks sometimes for mail to come from 7hours away, her mail was coming from the west Coast of the USA, we are patient. Also anticipation is part of the fun! really who doesn't love to get mail!!

So we gave AJ the envelope, and my batteries died on my camera! can you believe this? yep we have a Kodak that's about 3yrs old, it now will only recharge it's own batteries, it used to take disposables or other rechargeable, not now. (sorry Tangent.. there) He was so excited about what was in the package he ran from the Dinning room to the sofa to examine the cards. Do you know how many times a child of a mom from the 80s says "oh cool!!"? Many I lost count, he was so very excited. He then said "and there's a note for mom!" YAY I like getting mail too. Headless Mom wrote me a lovely note. I love making new friends. I had called her "friend" before, I call you all friends really, but this is icing on the cake.

The Best Part of all this? it arrives on Earth Day!!! I'm just so sorry that I didn't get to writing this post yesterday to post. This is our R! reducing landfills, yes the cards are paper and yes they will break down but before that ever happens, there's a chance for these cards to be "reused"!
Thanks for the Headless Mom and her Headless Boys, from me and my KyootBoy :)
