Go to Unmom and get yourself a Random Tuesday Badge, like this here... and play along. I have to say because it's Random it's the easiest Blogging idea I've ever done.

Let me see... more thinking.
The chair? yes the chair is still in the back yard but is gaining power vs the snow back there. I'll have to go snap a picture before it rains today... (rushes to deck to take picture....hunts for camera.....okay this no longer qualifies as rushing...)

This week we've made some changes to the house, got to work on that Canadian stimulus refund for home improvements. We replaced all the door knobs in the house. It's a small change but I'm amazed how "nice"they look. Now, I want to throw money at the outdoor light fixtures. There's that Job word floating around in my head again. (eying resumes still anchored under scanner, wipes brow)
Hernia healing is still going on, I've managed to move my brisk outdoor walking up to 30minutes but no lifting. No laundry. I'm doing okay, but it's 6wks tomorrow, and I can still feel that pulling feeling.
We got our family picture taken in November for our Church Directory, we got the copy of the Directory this past Sunday, we look good! Amazing how much "SIT DOWN AND LOOK AT THAT CAMERA OR NO DS FOR A WEEK" will do for a nice looking photo. Oh and an Elmo on an Elastic coming at you at BAM! speed. The boys really do look fabulous. We've had the pictures in the house since about 2wks before Christmas. They aren't on the walls yet, they are next to the wall and in frames we want to put on the walls, but uh no not on the walls.
Carbohydrates are not my friend, no no no, not moving much and sitting on my butt and eating toast? not good nope! there are inches that must now somehow airbrush themselves off my body.
Hubbie just sent me a link to a article on BBQ safety, looks like "we" have to clean our BBQ. Which really means "he". It's so much easier to get things done around here when I say "Let's go clean the yard", he walks outside, I point at what "we" need to do and I walk back in to "Watch the kids" it's good, it's a system it works. It really works well for the lawn mower. "I'll make sure the kids don't go out while your mowing" ha! would they ever? or "Let's get this dishwasher unloaded" and off I go to read a book to the kids, hehehe. Maybe it's not the "let's" but the kids?
MJ is getting to the sneaky phase of life, he got into AJ's Easter Treats, and "found" his DS. I didn't know he found it until I saw the electronic glow coming from underneath MJ's Bed. Lock your toys boys, move them higher, MJ is 4!
I was reading over at Stacy's Random Thoughts... She's got voles, I've seen holes in the lawn here for about 2-3yrs. We had to get a load of fill to put the dirt onto the front lawn 2yrs ago. I wonder if we have Voles? but why would they leave the Irises, Hosta or Tulips alone? I think here it's Moles, or Gophers. Hubbie is continually saying "Damn Gophers"
but this guy looks bigger then the holes we see out there. More research...

I'm with ya on the carb thing. Urrgghh.
I know it's related to the weather too :)
we have those damn moles too!
hernia recovery?? sucks! I had two repaired in 2006 - it took me almost an entire year to feel good - seriously - no joke. It sucked worse than all 3 csects together! And it didn't work, but I went and got pregnant again and ruined the mesh
My childhood dog, Tasha, used to catch gophers. She'd patiently wait by a hole for HOURS, and when the thing would pop its hea out, SNAP! No more gopher.
Looks like the chair is just fine where it is. Don't know why it is there, but it is a nice chair. :)
My son is 5 and has mastered the Wii, PS2 and knows how to find the video games on the computer. I can't help but laugh.
I'm liking the Caddyshack gopher! Thanks for that one!
http://kyootycenter.blogspot.com/2009/02/snow-it-keeps-happening.html chair pics for comparison
I still can't get over seeing snow on all of the northern blogs. We're in FL and it doesn't snow here at all.
Carbs are my best friend and mortal enemy too. Mmmmmmmmmm.
Why can't carbs play an important role instead of a detrimental one? I love carbs...
Glad to hear your recovery is going nicely - and I love the 'system' you have for getting your hubby to take care of things...I'm going to have to see if that approach works with my hubby...it's brilliant! ;)
Thanks for the shout out! Moles, voles or gophers are SO irritating... If you have voles, maybe they haven't gotten to the Irises, Tulips and Hosta's yet...check to make sure they're not 'wobbly' (voles will eat the roots but not the actual plants...) I found out too late they destroyed the root system on a few things before they moved on to other things - I'm trying to make sure they don't get out in the yard and destroy all the cherry trees and grape vines I planted last year... Ugh!
From the sounds of things, we might have to set up some sort of Mole/Vole/Gopher support group! LOL!!
Cool to see your chair free from its snowy imprisonment... :)
Great randomness!! Happy RTT! :)
These were those heavy fat and buttered carbs. :)
i love the caddy shack gopher. he's great.
I am addicted to carbs!! MMM
Great random thoughts!
I can't live without carbs, I just have to force myself to moderate them lol.
I can't live without Carbs either, but I'm talking about is eating 8 pieces of toast with butter, just cause...
We're getting the BBQ Grill all ready now for summer! I've just finished posting a whole bunch of articles on my new recipe blog & am starting a whole section on grilling!
Happy RTT & mine's up too!
YAY! for BBQ season,
The "lets" around MY house really means ME. I'm not sure how I got shafted there. Though I'd rather not have hernia surgery if that's how I get it to change.
maybe call it preventive hernia surgery tactics?
Happy RTT! I love your system for gettig things done! Hilarious!
Oh and carbs.....girl, can't live with them, can't moderate them...just pitiful!
Good luck with the healing.
The sneaky phase - that one will be intersting when we get there.
Enjoy your new door knobs.
Happy Random Tuesday.
I think my husband is finally learning that when I say "'We' need to do 'x'" that means, "'HE' needs to do 'x,'" I'm just being polite, using the royal "we."
Toast. Mmm. Now I'm craving. Darn you!
Don't forget the melty butter or dippy eggs :0
