Random Tuesday, skip jump and run around a topic or many

I've got me my random button from Keely The Unmom, so I'm ready to fly! Tuesday where we come. If you want to join in and be part of the fun go on over to
The Unmom, and get yourself a button and start typing away. It's not like it has to be coherent?

Last night I went shopping with a friend. She's going to a wedding this month and the theme is black and white. The guests are asked to wear black and white and while this will look marvelous in pictures, I do wonder just how realistic is to impose on people what to wear to a wedding? I know "I" do not look good in white, I wore off white to my own wedding cause I look like I'm dead in white. It's a better color on me. We did eventually find a nice black and white dress for her and WOW with a GOOD 30.00 Bra? she looked like a million bucks! I may go back and find me a similar bra myself, it did a lot for her Rack!

The Roof, yep still attached, I'm only about 2% concerned it will leak before it's 20yr lifespan is up. When the roofing company offers you a 7yr work warranty you wonder why. Is it because they want to do a half-ass job or is it because they think it will reel you in for that extra $?

Tea, I'm enjoying my tea this morning but I'm out of Splenda... must go shopping after I take MJ to the dentist. I went to the dentist yesterday, and had 5 fillings put in, ouch!!!!!!!! my jaw. today they still feel a bit rough on the tongue like sand paper, I don't' remember this part of dental work but according to 6 commenters on my FB, it's normal.

MJ's hands are brown, I left him home with the Hubbie last night while I shopped with other people's money and I also left the older two with only 1/2 of their homework complete.

I'm totally at the end of my school year homework rope. I hate homework, I have too much for someone that already graduated. Signing this and signing that and so on it hard work!

The Garbage Collection people came and took their bin while I had TJ and MJ out to the drs office. TJ is having his nose bleeds investigated. He's good at Getting them stopped but I suspect he's also part of the problem getting them started if you know what I mean?
The Dr said "no more picking your nose" to TJ and TJ said I don't do that anymore. He's very ticklish the light up the nose thing was a bit of a struggle, he kept trying to escape the light, cause it tickled. The lining is thin. We're going in for blood work to make sure he doesn't have a bleeding disorder. Nothing else bleeds this much though so I suspect it's more to do with him giving his nose the finger if you know what I mean?

I guess that's all the one thing about These Random Posts is that they can make a run run run day turn into an update post!

I thought white was supposed to be reserved for the bride to have her stand out and be special? She should make everyone wear red, that'd be cool.

I thought the same thing!!! my SIL (to be at the time) bought an offwhite dress to wear to my wedding? yeah uh i'm wearing OFF white, when you get your own wedding you pick it. After living with her hubbie a bit she wore WHITE... okkkkkayyyy I'm a bit traditional when it comes to weddings. I have ideas my out of the box idea was my off white/ivory/cream whatever it was called that year. It's been 14yrs!

I think it's pretty shitty to demand that people wear specific colors to the wedding, outside of the bridal party, that is. Pretty self centered.

My BF picked out an off-white dress and her mom actually CRIED at the bridal shop because she was so upset that the dress wasn't white. CRAZY!

Oh, and my daughter got frequent nose bleeds and they did bleed a lot, too, I wonder if it's because they are technically a head wound? And don't "they" say those bleed a lot?

Black and white wedding...hmm. Seems like a lot of work, and there's going to be one or two knuckleheads that show up in blue and ruin the whole deal.

Happy RTT!

Maybe I have a really good dentist, but my fillings are always smooth when I leave his office.

I can't wait ot see the pictures of this wedding but seriously my friend looked hot! she had tried on about 12 dresses or skirts for this wedding, but I think it was the Bra that won the dress!
My fillings are slowly smoothing out, must drink more soda that should do it right?

I've never been to a wedding where they tell you what to wear. Funny! I want to see the pictures -- I may need one of those bras.
I hate going to the dentist.

Ugh. Fillings suck. The dentist in general sucks.

And why were your sons hands brown??

Wearing white to a wedding? I think my mother would choke on her own anger if I had asked for that at my wedding.

Nose picking and push up bras, very nice. I'm pretty sure everyone wears black to a wedding usually anyway, no?

I had a totally witty comment all planned until I read Casey's...then it escaped my brain in an instant. :)

My ex SIL had a black and white wedding, but the black and white mandate was limited to just the bridal party...they did, however 'encourage' their guests to dress in black and white, or keep it to dark colors only.

Cavities and fillings are never fun - my fillings have never been sand-paper rough...except when I got the white filling vs. the silver one. Hope your mouth is feeling better soon! Yeah, maybe drinking more soda will smooth those suckers out...(snicker!)

Hopefully the nose-picking and excessive bleeding will be figured out soon - that doesn't sound like fun... :)

Happy RTT! :)
