Random Tuesday Thoughts, Wet Thoughts

randomtuesday

Yep it's Tuesday, no dentist but definitely some time for Random Tuesday Thoughts, get yourself a badge and join on in. Click the Badge for more instructions if necessary.

A 10yrold can bake a cake, yep!

7.5yrolds like to style their hair with Aloe Gel, nope it doesn't work but they are happy

4yrolds like to imitate 7.5yrolds but use Ketchup for colour.

Husbands that go to the USA for mail have a KFC addiction when he walks in the door and the guy behind the counter says "we're out of buffalo sauce", I could almost here the sigh up here in Canada.

Bills suck, I think Bill should get his own mail box with a shredder attached.

The laundry work out is now over, it's not worth it, run up the stairs, hang the clothes when the sun shines, watch the house go gray, run to the line take the clothes in fast, in the house, see the sun, back to the line, hang them up gain, fade to gray, run and catch them before the skies open up.... Back in the house, pull laundry back outside when the sun comes back only to discover that it's starting to rain again after you just get them up there? yeah my line looks like this

No it seriously is Summer up here, and no you don't need your snow tires on your car but maybe if you're coming this way bring lots of RAIN Gear. It's been raining every day for 1.5wks now I think. I'd have to check the weather channel but TV is useless here no digital, no cable no nothing!

There is a fine line between making mud pies and mud wrestling, I think the distinction is the "MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!" heard from the muddy crop circle.

Chasing your kids with the words "If I catch you(off he goes) I'm going to...." is like the great work out ever! I couldn't catch him at all! I think we circled the house 5 times before he gave up and chased me.

My kids seem to be able to hit any ball hit to them on a wii, but not in rl? We're going to work on that the Volleyball/Badminton net is pretty lonely out there with Abandon chair. REALLY I promise it doesn't usually rain this much here.

Oh look the sun! had to get a picture for proof.

It's great weather if you are a slug!

As seen from our car while driving between events on Canada Day ,

I agree!! Line-drying the clothes is ONE HECK OF A LOT OF WORK! Sheesh!

My son is fascinated with slugs right now. Ick! I hate those slippery little suckers.

Hope you get some much needed sunshine soon.Have a great Tuesday!

Great Posting!

I have been on "slug patrol" for close to two weeks. Yup, that's how much its rained for us. I kept noticing slime on my lillies so I went out one night with a flashlight (I know, how lame!) and lo and behold, my poor lilly had 17 slugs on it! I looked around and there were slugs everywhere. Crazy! So, I put a pie dish of beer out there and have been counting bodies each morning. I feel bad, but dang, I love my lillies sans slime!

My grandmother used to line dry. I still remember the cursing when a storm would come.. Good times.

That slug is disgusting!

Ketchup for a hair dye, lol!

You must be swarming with mosquitos from all the rain!

So, what kind of cake was baked? I'm guessing chocolate :->

That chair picture looks so very familiar to this Oregonian. We have had a few days of 90 degree heat but the clouds have come back. Drat!

I can't wait to see that chair through the seasons. Hey! A Kyooty Calendar!

Redneck Cadillac!! I love it! That's as hilariously retarded as the super old Toyota corolla I saw with the logo ripped out and a Benz logo drawn on with a sharpie!! Yup!

Happy RTT!

My daughter used to carry slugs like that around when she was about 3.

Too funny about the KFC! It is good though.

Have a great evening!

It's been raining nonstop here too. ANd does ketchup make for good hair color? Just don't let them use Kool Aid, I permanently dyed my hair with red one time when I was younger. Oops.

Aloe for hair gel and ketchup for color? Gotta love the creativity! ;)

After getting home from major repressive heat and humidity, I would have killed for a little rain...well, maybe not that drastic, but you can send some my way and I won't complain. ;)

Happy RTT a couple days late! :)

I haven't got out of bed yet, but the brightness makes me think I'm getting a break from the rain.

I miss the smell of freshly dried laundry, we're not allowed to do it in my town.
