Flash Back Friday!

This week I was going through baby pictures for my Middle. He's leaving Middle School this year so there are some "grad" type events for him. I think this was about Baby pictures for the Year book? So we spent some time in the basement looking through photos. You remember those? when you took the film to be developed? Yeah youngest has no idea! none.  well he does but he says "why are there no paper pictures off me?" uh well  Middle's Question was "why is older in all my pictures"
"because you weren't an only child?" Also less pictures with each child is so a thing!

Now back to my Flashback of a Friday. I found this 

My aunt and uncle made this Smurf cake for me!  They just became Grandparents this past month. Very exciting them.  I think I was 12 so this was 30yrs ago?


Also in the world of Flashbacks this story. You know you are getting older when your kids go out nad have a great time and you are already zonked out cold when they come home.  Middle came home lastnight with face paint, he popped in my door to show me. I didn't see it because I thought he was Youngest who I had already sent to bed. I saw nothing and said "go to bed". Poor AJ! This of course was a flashback reminder. I can remember telling Mom stories about my night out after a date or a night out with the girls and her saying "hmm a huh" and "so you had fun?" and then next morning? She would know nothing of the movie plot I told her about and have heart zero of what I said because I suspect her brain was all "stay awake until Girl gets home.. stay awake until girl gets home.. .Ok girl home! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"  I should ask her that some day.
