Summer!! YAY!!

Photobucket

Today was the last day of school for my boys. This was the end of Elementary School for my oldest son. I think I'm more nervous of middle School and what's to come next then he is, but for now? It's Summer.

I just received an email from a friend today. There were more sightings of a Bear or bears? This is about 3miles "through the woods" from my place. Fun times. Who invited the Bears to my summer picnics? I ask you? Why is it that my neighbour hood needs bears? My neighbourhood is a good 20-25yrs old? It's not like these are unused lands.

I'm going to have to be on my toes and outside all summer. This may call for a much longer extension for my Laptop, so I can keep my eyes on the boys. I think the bears should now go off and live in a cave/or zoo. Leave the houses and yards for the people?

I hope I'm not being a downer to everyone's VGNO! I think this may mean it's time for a drink! yes a Drink to the Bear leaving town?

I think this looks appropriate?
Big Bear recipe

Highball Glass

alcohol
2%

Scale ingredients to servings
1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
12 ozchilled Sierra Mist® soda

Recipe from Drink Mixer

I think it's time for me to go collect all my books and cushions off my porch swing and move indoors. I don't want to be sleeping out with the Bears. Go on over to Ann's and link up and find some more VGNO's. It's a great way to enjoy A Friday night in with the Girls.

Hurray for Middle school!

What are you supposed to do with a bear in your backyard? Do you wear a whistle?

Have a great summer! Enjoy sleeping in, if you can! I am not sleeping in yet, maybe in about three or four years!

My daughter just completed her first year of middle school and it was much less scary for her than I expected. lol. I'm sure he'll do fine.

In the meantime, stay out of reach of those bears. Yikes. I would be having nightmares. Do they sell any kind of bear repellent you can spray the kids down with?

Just be sure not to leave food out-that attracts bears.

Also, if a cub comes in your yard, warn your kids to stay away! Mother's a re very protective!

Visiting from VGNO- a little late, but hey....

...been a tad bit busy!

How about building a big bubble or dome around your property to keep those pesky bears out? Seriously, that is some scary shit. I know you said they're not violent but still, a bear is a bear.

So happy that summer has started for you. Praying for safety and for those bears to go home!

Careful with the laptop outside, it overheats easily. Trust me, I'm a pro lol. I also live in SC where it's a billion degrees. Currently storming. I love it :)
