This is the part I really hate about being over 35+, I get flux, lots and lots of flux. I can eat normal and less then usual and all of a sudden BAM the scales say "ah ah ah, you've been naughty". I can tell exactly the moment it happens. Some times it comes with me laying an eggs and that feeling of "OMG how it is ever possible for anyone to get pregnant if laying eggs feels like this??" so this week there is a gain. 4lbs! I'll have to wait for Wednesday to see if I manged to get everything back to an even keel. Even would make me happy. As for the trip to the store mentioned Friday, I got me Diet coke and baked chips and shared with the boys. I called it their after school snack and that leaves very little for me because apparently they are STARVING TO DEATH when they get home.
The exercise needs to get better around here, The Wii-Fit is fun but there are other things getting in the way that are more fun. It's very easy for me to sit here and read instead of write or work, and it's very easy for me to find my way back to the kitchen, which as you know doesn't count as exercise because uh the food is in the kitchen. So this week my plan is to move more. If you see me over commenting remind me I said this?
Oh I did pump up a volleyball this weekend so I'm hoping to get the net set up while the boys are in school today, got to get these things done while my audience is smaller. One boy watching and handing me pegs is much easier then 3 boys getting all excited and saying "is it done yet?" I wonder if I can manage to get this done if I leave MJ in here watching a movie... with the doors open I can probably hear him getting into trouble? then again trouble happens less when he's directly in my sights. Right now he's all upset because the DVD doesn't work and our antenna is not accepting any channels today. There must be some weather on the way? I'll have to check my Wii weather, that should start me being all into using the thing.
Another joy of the weekend? my Kettle Broke, I plugged it in and POP! spark, oops! well it was 14yrs old. You can't expect a Kettle to work forever, but oh I miss my tea. I pulled a pot out of the cupboard and boiled my water in that. I think it's time for me to scan the shelves at Value Village and find me a old thick Pyrex teapot! the kinds that has that really sturdy handle? In the last 4 months I lost a tea pot (boiled dry and melted the cover) and this Kettle, maybe it's a sign? Is there such a thing as too much tea?I know too much coffee almost killed me, too much diet coke isn't good for my brain, so maybe too much tea causes forgetfulness? I guess it's possible since I've dry boiled the pot and kettle a few times before they popped? Time for a new Kettle, one of those shuts itself off after the water boils ones.
OK off to d my arm workout with the clothes line, pull pull pull, hang hang hang, push push push, hang hang hang, push push push. OK it's a stretch but house work is WORK! I blame the hormones! and the heat, it's been hot here.
If you have no clue what that HASAY is go visit Casey, give you the details! and she can even scale a roof like no one's business.!

I hope you find a great new kettle. I've never heard of "too much tea." Definitely blame the hormones. :)
It has to be, I just did my wii work out for 1.02minues and I'm down 4.6! soooooo I have to blame hormones
I'm not a tea drinker unless it is ice tea sweet with lemon. My hormones are crazy right now -- going to see Dr. tomorrow.
hope your body gets all adjusted :( darn female stuff! oh don't you hate when you leave the kettle on?! i've done it a few times and was so thankful nothing burned up!!!
I thought tea was the only caffeinated beverage that had nothing bad to it!
Hope Wednesday brings you some light news!
My weight fluctuates like that too and it drives me nuts. My slight blogging addiction gets in the way of my exercise too. I'll stop blogging if you do? Ha, didn't think so.
That is so cool you use a kettle. I usually just tea bag. I really shouldn't giggle when I type "tea bag". Lucky for me, half my blogging is about fitness, so it motivates me to get on the Wii. :)
OK that's the result then, Tea is fine as long as you don't burn down the house? and Blogging is finger exercises? almost like piano practice? and hormones suck!
