Random Tuesday Thoughts, Bears, Dentists, they Randomly go together,

Welcome to this weeks Random Tuesday Thoughts. First I go over to The Unmom, and get my badge... randomtuesday

And then I start spewing way just type and type and type until either your tired of reading or going to be tired of reading of the children managed to reach a level of loudness that mommy time has to stop. It happens, with every post.

This morning I took AJ to the dentist, that boy was brave! he walks in they say "you're getting tall, and you lost more teeth" to which he replies. "And now your going to take another one out!" yep he was brave! tooth is gone. No more breaking tooth. They will fit him next week for his spacer after it heals. I'll be in the office chair one cubby over getting another filling. Teeth and us don't seem to mesh well.

So while I'm paying the bill (funding visa's next take over) he's playing the nintendo and PS2 in the waiting room, the office assistant tell me this gem.
"did you hear about the bear?"
"uh bear?" (insert HUGE DAGGER EYES!)
OA, she lived 2 streets over from me "a woman from our neighbourhood (everyone from our neighbourhood seems to come here) she had a bear in her back yard last week."
GREAT! well that settles it the kids will watch TV all summer until that thing is caught. The Forestry Police have set up a trap, the traps? they aren't making me feel uh safe because I'm sure it's the equivalent to leaving the boys in the back yard with steaks around their necks? I guess this is what I get for owning a house where I can hang out my laundry? I'll have to scope the yard first.

Speaking Backyard Critters. This moring Hubbie calls me ".... come look the foxes are in the back yard, 5 of them" yep and sure enough there's mom watching her 4 cubs go crazy chasing each other all over my back fence into the tonka trucks, over the swing sets, behind the trees, back out through the ferns and around and around and around. I'll try 730am tomorrow to get another picture if she's anything like me as a mom, routine with cubs is key to a good nights sleep! later in teh summer they will all go running across the front lawn on their way to hunting night. Critters cute. Now why can't they keep the sand area cleaner?

We had a bit of a cat-astrophy last week, the boys were in the crop circle playing in the sand and they came in, I could smell dog poo! we don't have a dog, I suspected the neighbours cats are using the crop circle as a potty, so I go out and check and get them to take off their sneakers vs trapsing it through the house. What did I find out there? A Dead Mouse! I was very nicely reminded by a FB friend that it's better then condoms and used needles in the city Parks. Yep Mouse, you are fine but could you play perhaps in the foxes or cat mouths for as long as it takes them to swallow you? hmmm? Hubbie removed said dead critter.

He got himself a new Lawnmower for Father's day, new as in should not break down. Now we own 2 ride on lawnmowers. I'm glad he got it because there is less 4letter words flying around here when the lawnmower works, so for fun, now that the new one works, he spent some hours fxing the old one. Fun? OKAY! i'm sure I could have came up with something more fun?

Ever notice that Grocerystores love to tell you "sale" and what they really mean is more then last year's prices and less then next weeks but not by much because it's going up AGAIN! Food, the necessary evil I think.

Today AJ is home because I wasn't sure how the dentist would go and if he could hack going back to school or if he would drive the teacher batty, and well it's june, it's not like they are going to actually "work" right? So he's home. Tomorrow is TJ's turn at the dentist and Thursday the school is having a 'picnic'. Bring food and eat at the school with your kids. It should be fun and well atleast great material for writing about, and adding to their memories?

Oh and incase anyone was wondering about Abandon Chair? yeah S/He's ready for Summer! Bring it!

Great randomness!!

Bears, foxes and crop circles...I only thought I lived in a rural area. LOL

Oh, I'd LOVE to see a bear. When we go to WI
(where I was born and raised) I watch for bears ALL THE TIME - - - but we RARELY see one.

hmmmmm - - - your blog still asks me for a user name and password. It asks me when I arrive, when I click to leave a comment, and then when I try to post the comment.

I click cancel each time and it still lets me come and post comments - - - - too strange.

Wow, bears and foxes galore... that's a bit scary! I had to laugh at the four letter words being thrown around. I'm the one who mows around here and whenever our riding mower is on the fritz, I'm not a pleasant person to be around..

Wow - I'm sorry you guys have to see the dentist so much! That's never fun. That's quite a collection of critter stories too. Also, I love the chair picture!

Shut up! A bear in your neighborhood??! I'll take my suburbs life over that any day!

I could not handle the bears, foxes and wildlife! Give me the concrete jungle any day, lol.

I've made some changes to my profile, we'll see how that goes. I guess this wildlife just means we don't have to go to the wildlife parks again? I just ahve to build my animals a fenced in area set up a booth at the driveway and BAM it's income?
I live in the suburbs, but it's a bit woodsy.
The Chair seems happy with the weather changes.

I'd feed the bear and try to get it to hug me. Then I'd get mauled and end up in the hospital. I'd do it anyway.

I've been told leaving garbage out there will bring more visits. we' locked it in the garage.

We've got a family of foxes living just outside the pasture on the other side of the fence. But they come through/in/under/over somehow and spend a good portion of the day in the pasture which isn't a good thing when you have goats. Thank God I have a donkey to protect the herd. Maybe you need a donkey.

Bears and foxes in the backyard? Maybe you should charge admission, make the summer profitable. It would, um, be a great lesson for the kids, yeah...
