So this will be my last post for June for the HASAY! if you have no clue at all what I'm talking about then go on over to Casey's Blog and check it out. This is a great bunch of supporters keeping each other in the weight loss/maintenance/getting healthier loop. That getting and staying healthier is the best part for me. I need to be around like minded people. I tend to reach for the extra fluff food when I'm surrounded by it!
So remember that running from bears I may have mentioned before? no haven't done that yet. We did set up the volleyball net for the boys with the help of duct tape, but it's raining! yes oh yes it's raining Again. It's so hard to keep yourself moving when all you want to do is curl up and watch a movie with some fluffy food. This weather is depressing. I'm hoping the Great Orb will return soon.
Sunday though between the downpours we took the boys out and played volleyball, running to get the over served ball is exercise. I can't wait for them to learn to serve a bit better. We had some guests come to town to "crash" and they took a nap while we played with the boys. (insert over exaggerated eyeroll!)We also went to a food court instead of cooking fluff and this resulted more "real" (I had REAL turkey vs deep fried stuff)looking food for us. I promptly came home and documented my choices. This was a small yay! for me moment. I'm trying harder with my tracking and watching, as that fluff? oh it's scary what a little fluff here and there can do. If it was a bit over in the great stuff like fruit and veggies it would be more filling but fluff? it just slides it's ways over to the other fat cells and parties and multiplies. Small changes multiply too. Wednesday of this week is a holiday here so I'm skipping the altar of truth for the week. I'll update with "total" changes by the end of the month. Compromise is good too. :)

If yours boys play volleyball better than I do on the Wii, then they're in good shape. I SUCK!!! Way to stay away from the fluff! What holiday is Wednesday there?
i would love to visit your neck of the woods to experience rain .... and running from bears too.
i'm tracking my food too. the internet makes it much easier to do these days, yes?
I seriously don't know how you do it with keeping track of your food. I can't even remember what I ate for lunch today, let alone write it down or keep score.
You're kicking ass, keep it up! I would totally take an exercise pass if there was a bear lurking nearby. In fact, I might stick one of my kid's teddy bears next to the treadmill and pretend I can't work out for fear of being eaten.
Sounds like you're making real progress! That's great!
P.S. The only bear I've come in contact with was a hallucination I had once when suffering from severe insomnia. It walked in the living room, stared at me, then walked out.
I need to jump on board with this!!!
Congrats on your successes!
Tracking food is relatively easy, I've been doing it almost faithfully for 6yrs so stuff kind of "sticks". I know that my total tea for the day is 1pt over 3 because it's 1/2 cup of skim over those total tea. I know how big to cut my cheese, I know how to eyeball some turkey meat on a sandwich. I've memorized the subway numbers. I just keep registering, now if I don't count? Well then we have to talk about the almond M&M cravings, the nachos, and the cheese sauce. Those things I have to actively look at and count/size up.
:)
I saw Bex mention sparkpeople, one of my fellow weight watchers goes there. I LOVE looking at the different scrolling activites people are doing, they give great ideas.
