This is in my side yard....

I took MJ and AJ out for a walk on Saturday afternoon while the Hubbie and TJ were out helping a friend move into her new apartment. Yes I have 3 boys, Yes my youngest son's bike is pink? No we don't care because that bike? FREE~! now that's living on a budget!! It still peddles and it even carries rocks, there were some rocks all over the end of the road here and hard to walk on so we piled them into the back of the Trike and put them in the Big Puddles at the end of my driveway.

And this is what I found on my lawn, ok I found Many
but it's fall! it fell there, I'll leave it until the spring, it will protect the lawn from the heavy snow, and fertilize as it decomposes. Free Fertilizer!

And finally I couldn't leave this picture out, this tree is now 1/2 naked but on the weekend it looked like this. It was a slow and peaceful weekend and these trees are changing in that same fashion, slow and peacefully.

This is an extra post today so you can see my Random Tuesday Thoughts under this one.

The colors are beautiful! It's still 100+ here so it will be a while until we get the little color that we do. Thanks for the reminder that fall is an actual season!
Oooh wonderful! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous fall photos! I especially love the one of the bike ride - a long road surrounded by trees. Looks divine.
oh how i miss the seasons. can i come over and look at your trees?
Man, thanks for rubbing it in! I'm so jealous. It's in the high 80's here today and I'm HOT. Trade ya?
Oh pretty! The leaves changing is my absolute favorite thing about fall. Every year I say that is the most beautiful tree. And the next year I say the exact same thing about another tree.
I can't wait until the woods behind my house start changing. Prepare yourself for pictures!
Oh wow, you have gorgeous color out there!
Good for you not worrying about a pink bike. Who cares?
Love the pink bike. The leaves are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us, those who do not get to see the colors changing.
Those are lovely. Reminds me how lame South Florida can be.
Awww, how beautiful! And, how I miss the autumn! Great photos.
I would burst into tears and see if they'd let me feed and pet them. I am so weird.
Lovely colors -- we seem to be moving a bit slowly around here -- I'll have to take the kids for a hike though and see what we can find.
And free bikes are the best no matter what the color :-)
