Excitment of Tuesday Afternoon

So I was waiting for Hubbie to come home at supper and go out with MJ to the Doctors office yesterday. We got a quick appointment with the Nurse Practitioner lastnight to check out a Gash in his chin he got while "bouncing". I say 'stop bouncing"' but he doesn't listen and yesterday he bounced right into the kitchen counter SMACK! I put a bandaid on it but wanted to verify it didn't need stitches. It went very well, off to the office we went. We could have gone to the ER but I thought that might be a bit more excitment then necessary for the 1/2inch gapping gash. Got it fixed.

This is what I saw mowing my lawn!!A Doe A Deer and her Triplets?

through the screened Porch

Without the screen in the way, they just stood there watching me snap away.

And then they left, that's a fawn butt in the ditch. I'm sorry yesterday's post wasn't as pretty, but yes see Deer!

I can't believe there were four of them. Lucky you to have spotted them!

Wow, I've never seen that many toegether at once. I love deer, but usually cross my fingers that I DON'T see them as the main spot I see them is on a hilly, curvy street and I'm always afraid I'll hit one.

Now I can see them! Beautimus...

And ouch on the chin. Kids never listen, do they? I've got several scars on my chin to prove it.

They're so graceful. We never see deer because we live on a main road. It kind of bums me out.

oh autumn, you distant stranger. how i love thee.

my parents live in a wooded area with lots of deer neighbors (apparently they are very rude neighbors). i used to make up wild stories about where they were off to as we waited patiently for them to cross the road.

this deer family? i'm certain were on their way to get pizza because one of the fawn got good marks in school. that may not sounds like a big enough deal for pizza, but this particular fawn suffers from dyslexia.

Oh, how gorgeous! We have deer in the woods behind our house and every once in a while they venture into the yard. I just love seeing them, they are so pretty!

I hope MJ is doing better! Mac does the whole bouncing thing too -- and he doesn't listen either until he konks his head or does some other damage -- sigh.

Aw! I saw one near my office yesterday and wanted to take a picture then the damn thing tried to cross in front of me. Suddenly, I was less concerned with a picture and more concerned with possible deductibles.

I was so happy to get such clear shots.
@Bex, I laughed at your comment because not 800ft up my street is a Pizza shop and that's the direction they headed!

I finally got here! :) I am off to bed now, but I love what I've seen so far. I promise this weekend I'll do some reading!

:) See you soon!

PS The deer are amazing, how beautiful is the area you live in!!!! Wow!

That is too cool. The most exciting thing we see around here is a squirrel or tree frog. The toads, not so much. Yuck.

My son got a gash in his head a month or two back, my husband fixed it with a butterfly bandage, although looking at the scar now, I'm pretty sure it could've used a stitch or two. Oh well. Mine never listen either. ;)
